I gotta try this thing. If you have a Warthog, can you try that as well?
Already tried. It can't keep up with the other opponents. It's too slow. Acceleration is awesome, but it tops out at 135MPH, and that's pushing it hard. :(

Huh, I guess someone at PG / T10 realised that the S14 has to be easy to get if they don't want those things to fetch eight digit amounts on the auction house

Need a painter's help here.

Anyone got an idea how the replicate the M4 HE's colour? That white looks fantastic to me, but I can't replicate it to save my life.
If you have the car, go to [Paint Car], [Previous Colours], select the desired colour and press [X] to fine-tune it. You can pull the exact numbers from there.

If you don't have the car, try these values as a starting point and mess around with them a bit. If I remember rightly the M4 has a Semi-Gloss finish:

  • Hue: 60
  • Saturation: 5
  • Brightness: 75
That should give you an off-white finish which is slightly blue in colour. Play about with the sliders and you'll be able to figure it out after a while.

I remember it used to be 75000 drift points in order to unlock the S14, now it's 35000 instead.

It was initially 75,000 points but changed to 35,000 a few days ago.

Auction House values are capped at 110% of Autoshow price in order to prevent massive price inflations. I suspect the maximum value of the S14 will be around 40,000 CR. The only exceptions are Horizon Edition cars which have a minimum buyout value of 5,500,000 CR.

I suspect the score target was made easier based on data gathered by the development team. They can pull up the average scores of all players through any Drift Zone and choose a percentage of players that they would like to see get the car. I wouldn't be surprised if they made it easier to obtain simply because not many people know how to drift, despite there being a "massive community" of drifters out there ;)

If the objective for getting the S14 has changed form just the AE86 to any Japanese car, then I'll likely break out my HE R35 for the job.
No, you still need the Trueno to get the S14. "#Forzathon Initial Drift King - Score 35,000 Points in a Drift Zone using the Toyota Trueno to win the 1994 Nissan Silvia K's."

I'm actually planning to do something interesting in FH3, something that may burnout my cash but I love to tune my cars anyway.

Similar to The Crew, I'll be building different specs for each car I own. For example: I'll be making 4 specs for the Toyota Supra RZ, such as Steet, Dirt, Performance and Drift. It's a pretty ambitious project I've plan of doing since yesterday.

Wish me luck. ^v^

Have you got this working on FH3 yet? I remember I used to do this all the time in FM6 to try to pull manufacturer colors, but as far as I've seen, if you get the car that way you can't do it like that anymore.

I haven't tested it as the majority of my designs have either been imports from previous games or new creations.

Ah ok. From what I've seen, it no longer stocks up original paint in the previous paint tab anymore, it's only ones you've selected outside of Manufacturers paint.

Last night I decided to change my avatar in the game. None of them look like me, and if we're going to be forced to photograph the driver when shooting open-top cars, then I should at least have someone worth looking at driving my cars. In that vein, I am proud to announce the newest driver for Team Populuxe, recording star, singer, songwriter, musician, producer, actor and now championship winning race driver, Janelle Monáe.

Okay then, I'm off to slide one of my Truenos to earn a Silvia.

Also, I guess I never shared my complete thoughts on the dlc so far. So, I think the Crown Victoria is the best choice Turn 10 made for the entire pack, I honestly find it funny that it took this long to make its way into any Forza title. I had fun just driving it stock, then playing cops and robbers a bit with the AI in my police version, then I recently modded a 3rd one in a similar style to the Mercury Marauder as that was my favorite sedan from this platform. The Pagani Huayra BC is my 2nd favorite car in the pack because I love the stripe, and I love how quick it is while being easy to manage. Sure, I like to be challenged by a car every now and again, but it sometimes great to have a fast car that I can just drop in and drive like mad. I've tried every car in the pack and I guess my least favorite is the GTA Spano, I honestly don't think it needed to be in this pack as there were already 2 very quick supercars already. I rather if Turn 10 added the Alpine GTA that we saw hidden a while back than this. Overall, it's a great car pack to start off the season pass with imo.

Got the S14, no RB Boss kit unfortunately :banghead:
What is available if you don't mind me asking?

I thought the Boss kit was saved for the Hoonigan DLC

Unless it's a whole separate car.
It'll likely be a full car, but it would be awesome to see it as an upgrade too. Full car seems more likely though, since it's dlc and all, they'd probably want it to reach more people.

People selling these already...

The Rocket Bunny kit for the S14 covers the gas cap cover so good luck refueling :sly:

The customization options are a nice touch though, but it seems a bit *too* outlandish for my liking. Seeing the lettering available on the tires still makes me somewhat confused as to why couldn't every car in the game feature this option :indiff:

At which festival level do you get the first drift zone? I've spent so much time discovering roads and shooting, that I'm only on level 2 for Byron and Surfers.

Yep, also completed the other two challenges no problem but still got nothing.

Force quit the game and then start the gane again. Should be there.

So does the ae86 have to be stock? I did one up last night. All engine mods, race suspension, a two way and rims and I got 140k on first attempt on one of the drift zones that is apart of the Goliath race when you're leaving the outback.

35k is going to be way to easy for everyone to do. Why not make it a challenge?
