^^Roughly 5 hours and 17 minutes to go at the time of this post.
Anyway, the HUMMER H1 Alpha makes a shockingly good car for A class. Just won a round of Goliath on Unbeatable difficulty:

Not bad for a 7,900lb shed, eh?

I definitely just saw a wheelspin with a Ford GT HE that had a Credits boost, and one with a Ford GT HE that had an XP boost... Is it the only HE car that has variable boosts?

Also, I'm pretty bummed that the only way to sell cars is through the auction house, I've got a Ferrari FF I don't want, and it seems no one wants it either because I've put it up for auction 4 times, even at the lowest price, and no one bid on it. Shame.

And I sincerely hope we don't have to hit 35,000 points in a drift zone with a bone stock Trueno in order to get the S14. I mean, I don't care that much about the car, but I'm curious to see what all the "mind-blowing visual upgrades" are going to be.

They have changed that overnight! It said you had to use the Trueno when I looked last night

Wasn't it 100,000 points? Thought I've seen that number quoted somewhere.
35k is a walk in the park at this point. I was practicing 100k in a Trueno, because like @Luminis said, it used to be 100k while specifically using the Trueno(even said that exactly when you'd go to the Forza game hub on the One and check out the achievements.) If that's changed, than this will be a easypeasy. I'm still just wondering if it's a specific driftzone, or any of your choosing.

Yeah, if it's 35,000 with any car, I might as well just e-brake a Civic through a drift zone and get the points that way.
AWD swapping with high power and skinny tires, while using the lowest grade compound would work better, for those who aren't too savvy with getting sideways. It'll allow you to get really sideways while being able to pull out of it relatively easier than a RWD.

I remember it used to be 75000 drift points in order to unlock the S14, now it's 35000 instead.
I've never seen 75k for the S14, I have saw 75k gets you Xp or credits though. 100k was stated in the achievements of the game since it was released.

Didn't it say get 100,000 credits in a single skill point chain? I don't think they specified drifting. Just go out in the outback and hoon around for a couple minutes and you'll have 100,000 points in a single chain easy peasy.

Yep. 👍

Ah that's true, I didn't notice that. Since every other part of this challenge was linked to drift zones, I completely bypassed that and just thought it was specific to drift zones. Good catch.

Here we go:

#Forzathon The Drift King - Get 3 stars on 3 Drift Zones in any Japanese car to win 15,000CR.
#Forzathon AKA D.K. - Bank 100,000 Skill Score in a single chain using a Japanese Car to win 15,000XP.
#Forzathon Initial Drift King - Score 35,000 Points in a Drift Zone using the Toyota Trueno to win the 1994 Nissan Silvia K's.

EDIT: updated with correct points for Initial Drift King.

TrueAchievements have changed there posting for the S14, it now says 35k. Would you be able to check the achievement list in game and see what it says, to see if it matches the changes they've made?

I can check during my lunch time, but that's going to be a couple hours. Anyone else online with the game?

It was 75000 at first but now based on my Forza horizon 3 Achievements and in game Forzathon, it's 35000.

Good. 35k is a lot easier with all those traffic cars getting in the way than 75k. Even with how awful I am at drifting, even I can hit 35K fairly easy.

30-40k points is not all that hard to get, if anything you just chuck the car in a corner with a judicious amount of e-brake and you'll get at least 10k just to start. Don't go with any tire upgrades, and have a moderate amount of power and it'll be easy, as long as you can modulate the throttle and not spin out or get out of the drift zone.

Bought a stock Trueno ant tuned it up to A class and AWD, I'm not good at drifting but doing 35k first time shouldn't be a problem...

Anyone stick with the stock 4AGE in their Trueno build? Mine makes 399HP with a supercharger and I can easily achieve 100k+ points. And I suck at drifting.

There's a drift zone south of Yarra Valley somewhere shaped out as an elongated S heading north/south. I managed a 4th gear turn and got a good chunk of points, that one would probably easy to achieve it on since the speed and angle you can get.

I tried a few different engines, and I found the RB26 swap to be the most effective with it's high-end power and torque. Makes it a lot easier to slip 3rd and 4th.

I gotta try this thing. If you have a Warthog, can you try that as well?

I have as well. Right about 150 horsepower with a tuneable front ARB and 'street' suspension and 'street' tyres. Very easy and nippy car to drift in, especially in the wet.

If the objective for getting the S14 has changed form just the AE86 to any Japanese car, then I'll likely break out my HE R35 for the job.
