So today, since I had half the day off, I got a little creative and turned my basic GTP livery on the Baldwin Trophy Truck into a more complete version.

I definitely just saw a wheelspin with a Ford GT HE that had a Credits boost, and one with a Ford GT HE that had an XP boost... Is it the only HE car that has variable boosts?

Also, I'm pretty bummed that the only way to sell cars is through the auction house, I've got a Ferrari FF I don't want, and it seems no one wants it either because I've put it up for auction 4 times, even at the lowest price, and no one bid on it. Shame.

And I sincerely hope we don't have to hit 35,000 points in a drift zone with a bone stock Trueno in order to get the S14. I mean, I don't care that much about the car, but I'm curious to see what all the "mind-blowing visual upgrades" are going to be.

Yeah. They've changed the date from only being available the 14th to the 13-15th.

And I sincerely hope we don't have to hit 35,000 points in a drift zone with a bone stock Trueno in order to get the S14.

Well, either that or most likely having to buy it through the Auction House for an inflated price. 35K is a walk in the park though. It also looks like you don't need to do it with the AE86 in order to unlock it.

The jumps are fun, but there's always that voice in the back of my head that keeps saying "You'd die in real life if you did this." Horizon always requires some suspension of disbelief, but the jumps are a big "no way" in my head.

That's Horizon in general.

The AI in this game really confuse me.

For the past week I've been racing on Pro and doing pretty well, winning most races. However, recently 1st and 2nd just race off into the sunset and I can barely get near them. Is anyone else experiencing really temperamental Divatars? It seems like unless you go the best possible car you just get left in the dust. Using my tuned Transit SuperSportVan for every Ford vs Holden championship gets a bit old.

It feels like your penalized for trying out other cars.

Also the X-Class Ultima is a boss.

Snow-capped Aussie Alps do nothing but taunt from afar no matter where you are on the map.

I'd put money down if it meant we'd get somewhere like Mount Hotham as a fith festival location in the south west with the Great Alpine Road providing a connection to the rest of "Australia". Imagine the potential for bucket list challenges or a showcase event with the inclusion of ski resorts.

The Alps and specifically Falls Creek are the most likely places for the expansion, though we can't rule out Tasmania. Taz would do well, due to the cooler and more forested and mountainous environment. And the lakes.

Falls Creek would make the most sense, since it's actually visible from the Kiewa Valley in real life.

I feel like the difficulty changes depending on class and track. On some tracks, the AI is incredibly fast while on others, it seems to have issues finding the fastest racing line. The Great Ocean Road exemplifies this: The race line tells you to brake, but adjusting your line allows you to take the bents at full throttle. That's where the AI will slow down tremendously and allow you to fly past with ease, which makes me think these two occurrences ought to be related. As such, the AI will be far more competitive on a track where "their" racing line is spot on and suck whenever it is not.

As for classes... Well, the AI does make a few mistakes here and there and goes off the track, but AI drivers generally seem to have perfect control over their car. As soon as car control becomes a major factor, the AI does seem to become a tougher nut to crack.

Speaking about glitches, I have a really fun one.

There's a speed glitch that involves using the train that can be found around the map. It only works while you're playing online. Tried it last night with my McLaren F1 and it was so much fun just seeing my car flying around the outback. Anyways here's a tutorial video on how to do the glitch.
