Btw anyone manage to buy a 10 million credit car? What's your tip to acquiring one without auction bidding?
So far i got one(the 250 LM,) but i got it from the AH for 5.6 million

So i'll tell you what i did with Horizon 2: Find a friend who wanna do online adventures with you. You'll see the money coming pretty quickly, and don't forget the spins!

If i was able to buy 3 Ferrari 250 GTO, then everything's possible :sly:

EDIT: I only have two of the HE cars, off to the Goliath i go!

Got the S14 and auctioned off my AE86. It wasn't even listed long before someone payed the 50k buyout price I set.

Out of this next set of HE cars, the ones I want most are the Countach, MG Metro, and Impreza but hopefully I can get all of them ASAP. There are still even more HE cars that haven't been made accessible yet, so I'm expecting these to disappear from the wheelspin too at some point in the future.

The AE86 is in high demand now. Yesterday, I bought an S1 class Trueno from the Auction House for 50,000 Credits. Put it up for a buy-out price of 90,000 Cr. today and it was gone within minutes!

The idiocy of people when it's cheaper to buy it from the shop and download a tune than pay 90k?

Well I haven't been online in a week due to a move, and the internet is supposed to be here today. Maybe I should just play offline and rack up as much XP as I can, as well as blow all my cash on wheel spins, to try to obtain the older HE cars

Exactly, although I guess some users would pay extra to have the package done already. But seeing as I sold the car for a profit, I'm not complaining.

I reckon they'll cycle the selection every three weeks pending any schedule shake-up. In which case this probably won't be the last time we can win the outgoing HE cars, unless they add more to the larger HE list after Christmas.

Tonight I'll try grabbing the BRZ, Project 7, M3 and M4 from the auction house to finish my collection. No fun in buying them out later on when chances are they'll be harder to get at a half-reasonable price, with the exception of the M3 which always results in a bidding frenzy.

I also immediately sold mine for over 90,000 CR after completing the Forzathon events last night, although I did find a good paint and tune when I initially bought the car so maybe the buyer has good taste ;)

As for the update coming tonight, I guess I better stock up on Wheelspins now so that I can pinch a few new HE cars tomorrow. Have all 11 of the first set and am looking to get the rest.

In other news, I had a word with the European Community Manager and we should now see official livery contest winner designs on the official Facebook page. May be worth checking that out every week if you're after a few new designs or people to follow ;)

My luck with the spins is pretty bad, plus I don't have VIP. It's starting to become a huge grind to earn more credits.

Should have postponed selling my duplicate HE cars. My GT HE went for 700k - not bad at all, mind you - and I'm fairly certain the prices are going to go up by quite a bit. Probably a million plus once the current crop of cars has been phased out for a week.

Good thing I did some wall tap grinding today. Utterly mind numbing to do for prolonged periods of time, though. Yielded a rather generous amount of spins, of course. Not gonna lie, not sad to see it gone. I at least won't feel compelled to do it again

What matters more, though, are the improvements to performance on the PC.

I wanted the HE Huracan, GT and BRZ so badly, dang it... :(

Welp, at least there are the HE Mono, the HE Countach and the HE Metro to cheer me up! :D

I'll probably try to get my hands on the entire set of new HE cars and save my wheelspins from that point onwards. Probably better to do so in the long run.

What's the best car for the Goliath race? Had a crack at a 2 lap version in my HE Viper and ended up running out of fuel right at the top of the beach section at the end of the first lap.

I use the one :1 but I don't use simulation.

Heh, funnily enough, I just received my first Horizon Edition vehicle.

EDIT: And now my second one.

I recently hit 25 million fans and got my festivals all to level 5, so I've technically finished the game now. I still have plenty of PR stunts left but since there's no point in them now outside of completion purposes, I'll just three star them when I'm in the mood.

But honestly, Horizon 3 is just starting for me. I've never done this in the previous Horizon games, but my new goal now is to drive every car in the game in at least one championship (or more if I like the car enough) plus a lap around Goliath.

I used this website (which is also great for keeping track of your car collection and finding bonus boards) to randomly pick a car and I'll be starting this off with the Lamborghini Aventador. It will be interesting to see what my stats look like when I'm done.

I'm doing something similar alongside my championship thing, only instead of just a championship I want to double each cars value in winnings. Once I check them off they will be put on the Auction Block.

As a side note, you've replaced @Oso Actual as my most annoying employee.

Y'know, this has me thinking: would anybody be interested in a leaderboard or two for the game? They can be run just like the FM6 ones. I'd like to hear which circuits people recommend though. We could do a Goliath one, but I feel like it's so heavily power-biased that there wouldn't be much point.

I wouldn't mind this really. It would also give me more incentive to use Rivals as I've only just barely dabbled with that.

I've used rivals quite a lot lately, mainly because I found it the best way to test drive my cars as I can drive them in a closed circuit without traffic.

I completely agree, I treat this more as a NFS or Burnout game where I really don't care if my driving is good or proper racing etiquette, it's about enjoying the scenery in fun cars more than anything.
