But visually, they're the same.

Aside from the wheels, yes, everything is visually the same. I do believe the early 1.6s got Mariner Blue and Sunburst Yellow as exclusive colors that didn't make it to the "facelifted" 1.8.

1990-93 Miata interior on top, 1994-98 on bottom.
T10 used the 1994 interior in both cars. As stated before, IRL the dashes were different due to the addition of a passenger-side airbag in 1994.

Some of the very early cars did not have a driver side airbag, also.

That I did not know.

Passive restraint laws took effect for the 1990 model year. Any Miata without an airbag would have required "motorized mice" belts (impossible in convertibles) or those massive seatbelt pillar posts seen later on in the 240SX convertible.

I believe they became mandatory up here in 1992 or 1993, I sadly can't seem to find anything regarding that aside the US laws, but I fondly remember my high school friend's '92 Civic did not have any airbags.

With that said however, there are still many very small interior details that are either wrong or completely missing on a lot of cars... at some point you just have to shrug it off and know it'll never get fixed.

I agree, but using the entire wrong dashboard is just lazy and/or ignorant. And it was released in a Mazda-sponsored car pack, no less. Shows how little the companies are actually involved.

(nitpick alert)
On the note of simple interiors, I sure wish engine bays in cars were as clean and open as their Forza counterparts

Even with the Vr4 being one of the more busier bays in FH3 its still missing I'd say over half the vacuum lines etc.

The engine bays are just approximations.
As a car guy, this shot from the '49 Mercury is comical because one of the main components could never function as shown. Anyone see it?

The UK never got that upgraded MX5 interior at all, so not having the correct one on the 90 is doubly irksome.

Gran Turismo got me spoiled in the 2 premium Miatas we had.

And I miss the open top we had in FH2! C'mon, they must let us drive with top down.

Got a new update for the Windows 10 version (1.0.67.2), hopefully it will fix the Blizzard Mountain bug.

This update fixes the problem many players were having stuck on the Buy Hot Wheels prompt after its introduction video (seems to be those players who were using certain controller presets).

The issue you mention affecting PC players being stuck on loading Blizzard Mountain (or crashing when trying to load the game if they own both expansions), is being actively investigated by Playground, Turn 10, and Windows teams.

Updated my video drivers, reinstalled the game, reset data twice, and it still takes 10 minutes to load my save and then freezes on fast travel or when saving upgrades/paint. I'm done with this game until Playground/MS gets their 🤬 together and makes the PC version playable again.
