For those wondering, the Escort RS1600 unicorn is an E267 car. Fastest I saw it go on Nurburgring flat-out was around 108mph.

So I finally win an ABC'S race driving my C500 Renault 5 Turbo, and of course...the game crashes. Just my luck.
Anyone else experiencing game freezing a bit more often now since the patch? This has got to be the 4th time my game has crashed. Can't tell if it's just the ABC'S lobby or the game in general, since it's only froze on me while in an ABC's lobby.

So, I guess this was meant to be last month's unicorn. Of course, it was never made playable. Which means...*facepalm*.

@RandomCarGuy17 - Does this method work for the Silvia too?

It's so strange. They could be all grouped together for a future pack, but it's certainly strange to add them into the game one at a time in a way that they can be easily found. And after the big deal made with the Aston CBH, and the Lambo series, it seems strange to just go silent on that front.

Paired with the lack of a free manufacturer-sponsored mini-pack, I'm wondering what's up over at T10. Not in a doom-and-gloom way, but just curious what, if anything, has changed.

Strange that there was never any word on the '08 Cali. If it's the same situation like what happened with the '66 Silvia, then that makes me concerned about the Escort.

Unfortunately, no. I tried entering the car into my game, but the AI just default to "select a car".

Also, I have noticed that Turn 10 has become way too silent aswell. I mean, they're close to Polyphony Digital silent. I wonder why that is?

Horizon 3 preparation for E3 is probably a reason, coupled with Apex just being released.

You compared them to PD's complete void of info? Laughable.
I said that they were "close", but quite there yet. but I'm really just exaggerating a bit. I can't help, but do so on the fact they have gotten so silent about leaving content hidden in their game for so long and not addressing it. Even if they are focused on FH3 and FM6 Apex, there surely should be someone still addressing issues like this.

While its not really even close to being the same, I do agree that it is a bit odd. From the Silvia going missing after being in the game for some time, to them stating that there will be other ways to earn the "Unicorns" and then just fall completely silent on that front after the Lambo event.

What I find most annoying about Turn 10's communication is how they keep the community in dark about things they can talk about. For example, they strongly suggested that the two first unicorns would be up for grabs later, but they haven't updated us on those yet. Instead they are digging a deeper hole with additional cars people are left wondering how and when to obtain. All the green lights to make the game better for everyone appear to be there, yet they are more concerned about publishing articles about things often unrelated to FM6.

The only answer I can think of is that they may be pre-hyping content for the next Forza game in order to make people hungry for certain cars, and thereby the next game.

I think this is a consequence of staff turnover? The guy who does the rivals events left so you get the situtation that there's only ever been ONE round of VIP rivals.

One round.

btw. Is there anyone or group that does impromptu single free play community 'rounds' or 'series'?

ie. This week we are doing 10 laps of Spa in the wet, 500pp US muscle cars from the 1970s.

Week 2 we are doing 10 laps of Motegi in 1960s Japanese 400p sports cars.

I can't recall, but wasn't that some time before these recent unicorn events?

Hi :D Seems I'm behind the game here. How do I get that Escort, please? :)
It's not playable, at least not yet. The Escort RS1600 can only be driven by the AI and to do that, you have to set up a private lobby against an AI car.

EDIT: I really, really wish Turn 10 would alter the Private lobby settings and allow me to select the cars the AI drives. because I now want to have a showdown between the RS Fords. :grumpy:

Even Enthusia had displacement AFAIK, and engine upgrades in that game were just numbers on a scale of 1 to 10.

Even every Forza Motorsport has had engine displacement before this, I'm fairly certain.

I decided to modify a couple of my cars and try some online racing, I did mainly average. XD
Though, I did have some bad luck at a couple of races, I got rammed by multiple cars including a Bone Shaker a couple of times on Sonoma, 3 cars on Silverstone, and there was a Ferrari California that had trouble keeping his line on the Nurburgring GP circuit. Other than that, I was able to find my groove and part of that was thanks to "Super GT" from youtube and his video on how to survive the first lap.

Previous Forza had everything from Engine Placement to Redline RPM.

They keep taking away small things like that in every sequel.... Launch was kinda unnecessary since FM5 though since they have 0-60 times now.

Sorry if I missed this, but is it correct that none of the new DLC cars are in any of the game's divisions? Seems odd given the X6M, Camaro and Focus RS would all fit in one easily.

Also, with the 641 now in, the ultimate question is; 80s-90s Grand Prix when?!
