I know for a fact the hoppers change.

I am specifically on about the core E/D to X class specific hoppers, The default ones that are always static. Not about the specialty hoppers such as "cycled production" and things like that. My fault for not been more clear on what I was saying.

Anyone else completely overwhelmed with how much content is in F6 in a good way? Sheesh when I get on I dont know where to begin. Between campaign, rivals, buying cars, tuning cars, painting cars with vinyls, taking photos, drifting, drag, autocross, multiplayer, or league play I am just blown away and overwhelemed. I sit sometimes for 10 minutes not even knowing what I want to attack first.

I still haven't explored much beyond Free Play, so haven't even had those thoughts yet. Funny thing, the car list looks overwhelming on paper, but I don't really get this feeling within the game. It's easy to forget the vast selection when scrolling horizontally through the different makes and see all those manufacturers having only one or two cars included. I know it's just a matter of scrolling down on the big ones but still...

Do yourself a favor, and don't explore the other features I mentioned in F6. Otherwise your life will be over.

Ah, so it was just that no one was playing it at the time

Well then, challenge accepted! I'll be seeing your time in about 6-7 hours!

It shouldnt be too hard to beat. The Civic is still in progress, just needed to get that Golf of the LB as it wasnt my own tune :)

Dude, Just did the same track i C class. We now have the exact same time?? Thats pretty funny.

Yeah, this time around I'm hoping to use all my own tunes too.

it's nice to finally have a Rival that is similarly skilled as me. I'm definitely going to chase all of your times when I get home :P

I've noticed that! I would guess that its people new to the series, though.

On a side note, my tune for the Jalpa got about 15 uses yesterday as well as a handful of likes. With that, it was able to reach 5 stars! so I'm glad for that. The sad thing is, is that I was continuing the tune yesterday and made it way more responsive, but now my other tune is already set, bringing in the downloads :( Hopefully the next one will get some action and not be overshadowed by the old one, as I feel this one is so much better.

Buying the Jalpa and trying out your tune is on my to do list, was going to last night but I got caught up in the vinyl editor

Thanks for the support! :D I plan to upload the second version today, but I'm just going to give it some runs and see if I need to change anything else.

Good point and the reason I don't see a problem with day one DLC. I paid for the base game (which is a lot as you stated above) because I thought it was worth my $59. Just because there was additional content possibly available at release doesn't mean T10 is required to provide it with the base content. We make the decision of value/cost prior to purchase - our choice.

but I got caught up in the vinyl editor
Let me know asap when you get your notorious RX7 or RX8 paint job finished. I will pick it up for sure. I think those are the paint jobs I got from you in the previous games. I assume that is what you are working on.

As a self-proclaimed know-alot-about-cars guy, you just cant go around using other people's tune in public ;)

I see this chasing ghosts becoming a true addiction, i can easily spend a hour at the same track chasing those few 10th of a sec.

I usually stop at my second lap just to test out a tune and see how it places, then I'll go back to work on it for what seems like the remainder of my free time for that day  I haven't really dedicated alot of time to Rivals yet, but that's only because I want to build up my car roster first. However, you have just slapped me in the face for a duel, so now I have to

My most notorious ones in FM4 are the Gen-2 MX5 Miata, and the Legacy GT, but I did also have the RX7 with the 787 livery and the RX8 with a custom livery.

The last time I checked in July, the Miata was still the #1 most downloaded Gen 2 Miata livery.

I'm not sure if I will replicate it since the gen 2 Miata in FM6 is topless, it wouldn't look right without the top. I think I am going to work on a Subaru first, maybe a BRZ, I haven't decided yet. Right now I am just creating vinyl groups to get it started.

I remember the Miata. That is a good one. But I was specifically talking about the RX7 with the 787 b design. That's the one I want again for sure. :D

Lol that one is going to take awhile, I am going to have to work my way up to that one, lots of decals to create. I had at least 20-30 hours into that one, I don't remember the final vinyl count but it was a lot.

@DDastardly00 Oh trust me I fully understand. You know the hours I have spent in Forza doing designs and manually creating sponsor decals from scratch. I actually hit the vinyl max count on a few designs because of the sponsors. Just take your time and let me know when it is finished. No hurry at all.

What's great about that livery is that you can now swap the 2.6l 4 rotor engine into most vehicles, so it will be not only a livery replica, but have the same engine as well! Although, I can't imagine the car would be able to make much use of that power, especially in the lower gears.

Speaking of FM4 liveries, I've gotta work my way up to this again:

That's exactly what I do, especially during the early access, either the review portion or the 10th onwards. I'd be stuck between "I need to do a stream!", "Must recreate favourite personal rides," "let's explore some of the new tracks and cars," "gotta get through the career just once so everything is unlocked," and finally, "Rivals and online!"

@SlipZtrEm Nice Livery there, I love the color choices too.

I hear you, it's hard not to race in career or at least test drive cars and explore new tracks when the physics are this good; especially when the game is this new. I had had to bite down my urge just to make it into the vinyl group editor last night.

WHOA WHAT REALLY??!!!!! I had no idea we could put the 787B engine into theses cars. OH wow I am so making one of those!!! Hopefully it sounds as good. Crap another thing to add to the list. I need to stop visiting this site.

I am seriously afraid to get into some of my earlier paint jobs. Some of them seriously took me 45+ hours per car. I quit doing really time consuming designs after F3. I just don't have the available time to do that any more.

I cant imagine doing all of that on top of trying to write reviews and stream.

I believe that was introduced back in Horizon 2. You're late!

Are you talking about running out of gas? I guess I haven't run enough laps, but did not know this affected hotlapping in rivals. I'm going to have to turn that off cause with my luck I'll run out of gas at the end of my fastest lap!

Yes! Sorry hit reply rather than quote so it didn't make any sense. You can run out of fuel on rivals if you get carried away.

Nice and damn good beer too.

I love trying out new cars all the time, so i just do some upgrades where i think they are needed, then go to test run at a track where i know what times i should be doing. Often i need to go back and change a few parts, and do some adjustments. Then i go race, either online or in Career. And if i find a good track for that car, i go into Rivals and starts fine tuning the car.

I only gotten really deep into this with a few cars in D-class, but i aint planing leaving Forza anytime soon. So you just start beating my laps ;)

Yeah, me too. I've been trying out cars I missed from H2 DLC, as well as returning cars. Alot of the cars I didn't use to care for to much are starting to turn into favorites as well. Hopefully I don't get stuck in a tuning mode like I did yesterday. My original plan was to do some league racing, but never even got around to it

Give me three hours, and I'll go attack your times ;)

I just put the code to get my 10th Anniv cars. I only got 9. Sucks that it only comes with the digital pre-order. 👎

I eventually want to check out an endurance race but those usually are not my thing. Eventually I will get to one. I don't even know where those events are at. Been so busy with everything else in the game.

I just did freeplay.

I switch between leagues, online and freeplay depending on what's happening (how many crashers per lobby, lag, whether leagues are open or not, etc)

I should also point out that my endurance race also got my affinity from 0 to 23.

Under showcase events I think, I know I saw them somewhere last night. In the past, Forza's Endurance Races have been much shorter than Gran Turismo's which I consider to be a good thing. I wouldn't mind trying one out one some night with friends in a party (if you can still race Career events with other people, I have no idea).

It only takes 372,000 XP to reach affinity level 25 in this game which I think is too low, driving my D class Fiesta I think it took roughly 5.5 hours (multiplayer so no boost mods) to reach max affinity level with Ford. I'm sure it was closer to 15 hours of driving in FM5 which felt much more like you were being rewarded for staying loyal to a brand whereas in this a couple of nights racing and you've hit max level.

I was a bit let down by the reward when I reached level 25 with Ford as well. (Spoiler in case anyone wants to find out themselves).

A Ford crew mod, fair enough it gives +50% credits but if I want to use it I also get the grip boost which I prefer not to use. Maybe I can hope they allow us to cancel the grip boost at some point.
