LOL @ImaRobot
I See you been busy driving that little Mazda of yours. Guess that calls for some motivation to get some more brands up till level 25 :sly:

I've just had an absolutely ecstatic 25 minutes driving a stock 155 Q4 around Hockenheimring. I started in my usual chase cam and got the angles I wanted in photo mode - boy it leans over well in corners - and then I switched to interior view. What an utter epiphany. I've never really cared for this view in the past, but I've just had so much joy attacking the corners for 8 laps or so.

I will definitely start to appreciate the cars more and enjoy the superb physics over several laps, rather than shooting a car and onto the next after as little as one lap.
Forza is the series that got me hooked on the cockpit view. Some of the interiors are distractingly beautiful and I truly appreciate the detail.

I was trying to see how much of an all rounder this car can be. It seems to be doing pretty good  I had to switch for the Jalpa on Catalunya, though. That BMW is fast!

That Mazda flyes thru the corners, and good acceleration too!

Well the BMW at Catalunya is something special for me, i was at a guided tour at Catalunya this sommer, and i own a E28 (not M5 tho) so if i cant catch that Jalpa with the Bimmer, i dont know what im gonna do :P

It was funny, because I wasn't expecting much to come from it as I went in. The Mazda just couldn't touch it. The Jalpa just beat you by a hair, you should be able to beat it I think.

Maybe, im a at the very limit allready with the Bmw. Its so hard to get fast thru that last chicane without going on two wheels. But its also one of my first tunes. so maybe now im able to fine tune it alittle better :)

Thats the problem I was having with the Cosmo. It wasn't just that turn either, it was all curbs would mess it up alot. The Jalpa absorbs the bumps much better, but the acceleration wasn't as good. Has to be a trade off somewhere, I suppose.

Must admit i havent tried to decrease the bump stiffness to an extreme and see if the car is still drivable. Thats something i have to look into.

But some cars really just seem to not like curbs and stuff, my Mercury Coupe is also one of them. Even tho it doesnt have any chassis reinforcements.

You are not kidding when it comes to the Coupe. I was on Yas marina in the league play over the weekend, and almost rolled that car at least 3 times. I mean very close to rolling over. It is the only car I have driven so far that was that prone to flip over with little to no effort.

Guys you should try to drive in Rio with front suspension damage, it's awesome.
The car will be jumping around corners like a lowrider.(or maybe that was just the case with my M4)

Man, the attention to detail really is fantastic. At COTA, around the last section, there's always small gusts of dust blowing across the track. Last night while attending the practice sessions at the track, I started noticing how often that actually happens.

Rain mist, water splashing on the windscreen from cars driving through the puddles are awesome details as well. This is just the beginning. Amazing stuff.

Yeah, just imagine that on the next Xbox.

Did you also notice as you turn left to right or slow down, or speed up, the water droplets are also effected by the physics? :)
Yeah, just imagine that on the next Xbox.
Probably fully responding 3d water puddles on the road that ripple with each car. Similar to the 3d reacting water effects in other games like Kameo, BF4, Destiny, and many others.

I just find while driving in the rain, I'm more about learning the cicuit and when I can push it and when to be strategic about my passing opportunities. I'm at the stage of not trying to win but, picking off as many cars as I can with minimal dmage. Hmm, kind of like real driving in a simulator. :sly:

Its a really funny car still, just add twin turbo and the widest tyres. It really does well on the wet tracks too.

Think it's going to take me a while to adjust to racing with pad.
Feels so different to PS4 and Drive Club

Just overdriving locking up and all over the place.

Going to look into advanced controller settings, summit ain't right with default for me.
I need a good few hours to settle in

I just patiently wait for the guys in front to hydroplane out of my way.

Rain races are the only ones I'm competitive in lol

I find tyre pressures play a large roll in my set up. Camber does too. My liitle metallic brown RX-3 is such a joy. That mean ol' Lotus Cortina just blows past and that crazy 2000GT spears me off at corner entry. So, I found those minor adjustments(and some patience) work immensely.

Well, I bet my drivatar will look like an aggressive driver. I really do have a problem with clean racing against the AI. I can't avoid crashing into them, there's always a car in front of me that brakes way earlier than I would and I don't see it coming.

I'd be all over cockpit-cam if we could lose the drivers arms and the steering wheel. That's one of the really great bits in pCARS. pCARS faults are well documented but they've nailed that bit

I bet it's an easy option to implement, technically speaking?

I've just taken a look at quite a few of the cars I really want to drive in this game.

I'm not telling what they are because I plan to use them for something on here. But my current favourite, just from those videos, might be a little surprising. Both for you and me. Second favourite too.

Yesterday I had the privilege to do a lap of COTA in a S line A4. What surprised me was how accurate Forza's representation of the track is, and now I truly appreciate their methods of laserscanning every track. I knew that the actual layout would be accurate, but what came to my pleasant surprise was that the rumble strips felt identical to the ones in the game!(I use a wheel). I felt like I've driven the track before when I was driving it as I knew all of the right lines and species to hit. Nice job turn 10! I also have a video of my lap with s Go-Pro camera that I'll upload when I get back.

Early on in career so cant say much about the game yet. Just did Daytona infield track at night.

Not sure if it was partly my ambi-light adding to the atmosphere but darn it looked really great with the mix of bright and dark parts on track. The woosh woosh woosh of the light poles passing by when on the banked curve clearly defined on the right channel is a small example of the great directional audio detail within the game.

Charging down the track to complete a lap, going deep into that first long left hander out braking 3 or 4 cars while not locking up, certainly one of the early thrills I've had from the game.

I've noticed a lot more care with regards to the atmospheric side of the audio in this game. Going through tunnels obviously changes the sound, but even going up near walls changes it slightly. It's a nice touch.

I'm loving the Design Rewards this game after the stinginess of FM5 and it's blasted "Freelance Status". I just logged on to 47900 Credits, split across 31 downloads, 21 likes, and 114 uses. Nice!

I don't think so,It asks me if i own this app/game every time I run it up and I have to log in.
Thanks. I just figured once the game is installed, I could just play without waiting for online updates. Seems Microsoft wants to know what's going on with its consoles at all times. I even had to add the bluray app to watch Age Of Ultron.
