Yes annoying for sure. I usually pick a car then look at the grid layout. Something like that. The only complaint I have is that career events don't display the PI limit (annoying) and you can't choose, you have to really do their order.
Not sure if this has been discussed already but is there reasoning behind not having the "dirty" lap icon in career? I have only noticed it with rivals and MP.
That is also my guess. I was avoiding mods in the beginning of the game so I could run clean laps against friends while in the career. Noticed the lap certification doesn't matter, so now I run dare mods. If I want to run clean lap times for competition, I do that in rivals. And trust me there are an insane amount of rival events. If anyone gets a CERTIFIED time posted in EVERY single rival event within a month, I will be impressed. I don't think it is physically possible.Probably because the laps don't count anyway because of the whole mods thing.
Keep in mind quite a few of the rival events have multi class AI on the track while you run hot laps. Its an insane challenge to run those with certified laps. My most epic rival event moment so far in F6 was running a RWD 600+ hp 2015 Corvette on Sebring in the rain, threading between multi class AI, cockpit view, no assists, and .....CERTIFIED! Just epic!If I'm setting hotlap times I sure as hell don't want stupid AI in my way.
Really? Dang I think the rain racing is by far one of the best features of F6. Especially the water puddle physics. I get so excited when I know my next race is in the rain.Just Sebring is enough to turn me off, let alone in the rain.
Wet concrete, no thank you, lol.
Oh I like the rain, but I hate Sebring even in the dry, it wet to me is just no thank you.
Me too. It, umm... well, it rocksI use Lime Rock (full layout) as my go-to test track now...
Teehee!Confirmed, the prize wheel doesn't like Rob today![]()
It's sublime. LolMe too. It, umm... well, it rocks![]()
I use Lime Rock (full layout) as my go-to test track now ......
5 spins no cars,25k 25k 50k,2m for the Lotus F1 wasnt bad to be fair and 75k,and I haven't driven that one yet, spent most of the day in my #28 Honda Indy.Teehee! What happened?
and...
Wow, doesn't the BMW 635 handle well out of the box?
I've pumped it up to B class now for more oomph, but it was epic as it was
Well I became kind of addicted to the Lotus F1 Rivals challenge at Spa. Managed to hit 11th in the world with a bad couple corners! Such a fun combo, gonna revisit it here and there to try and go higher. But so will everyone else...
The key to that car is using TC and a semi-auto transmission. I tried the hardcore method but the car just spins out way too fast (it is a generic tune, but not even real F1 should be that tail happy).
Probably because the laps don't count anyway because of the whole mods thing.
I'm so relaxed with this game. I don't feel rushed to play it through. I can play for a short while or zone out for a few hours. Focus on a new discipline and jump into a quick race with another. The Free Play is my friend.
Indeed. I think anyone who's rushing through is doing themselves a disserviceI feel similar, been doing quite a bit of just free play, trying cars, admiring peoples paints, scratching the surface only with regards tuning. Had some entertaining races going through the career and enjoying so far most of the tracks
So much fun or enjoyment to be found in the game
