The maximum amount of replays you can save is still 10. :(
I still wish we could name the replays when we hit save. Otherwise we have to leave the race or lobby to name it. I just don't see that ever happening. So I just keep a notepad next to me.

Forza 6 is probably the only racing game where I drive cleaner and faster in cockpit cam than I do in third person... definitely helps to have the individual rumble triggers, which are one of the best things to happen to game pad design
I'm rubbish with third person cam in any racing game. I just can't get used to it, it feels delayed lol.

Im the opposite, I can play forza or any racing game on the control pad with any view. Just doesnt matter to me. But then I have been playing racing games since the late 80's, and all the old ones where mostly external view only.

The problems I have with the view is counter-steering, and turn in. I just cant gauge it correctly. I've got too used to using cockpit came religiously since it was first introduced

Same. Any game that offers inside view, I always pick that. Especially in a simulation game. I do drift on outside view depending on how I feel. All racing is inside view.

I have slowly been converting more and more friends into using the inside view while racing. So fun to see their response. "whoa look at this interior!!". :D

Hood/bonnet view is normally my thing; it gives me "outside" sound but without me losing control as I would with chase.

I usually rename the previous file first and then overwrite it. I'm pretty sure that that way I can save a named replay (although still one of ten :() without leaving the race.

Still the lousy replay limit? That's plain dumb.

Guess I'll use it for in-game purposes (Photomode for post-online-races), and any genuinely exciting ones, I'll probably capture with the card and upload to Youtube.

......

Hood view for me too for the most part. Cockpit views block too much of the road for me and I find it disorienting when the driver is sitting on the "wrong" side. The only times I use cockpit view is with the center-seat open-air cars

I like the bumper view, but in some cars it is a bit too close to the edge. In those cars, like the NSX, I use in car. Most cars I use in car anyway when I am on a wheel.

Don't you wish you could turn off the in-game wheel and drivers arms? I do

I personally like seeing those features. Would be very strange without them. However a toggle on off would be nice for those that don't want to see them.

I've seen comments about the camera views and I'll say that I actually love playing the 3rd person camera the most. I drive the best with it, but I'm capable of driving okay in the other views. I just like the 3rd person view the best since I can look at my car while driving it. :D

I've also just become use to it overtime as I've been using it since when I played Gran Turismo 1 & 2 as a little kid.

I usually split my time between Cockpit and hood cam. I like the cockpit view for racing and the hood cam for seeing all of the track (especially when exploring a new track that I am not familiar with). Did my first test fit on the BRZ livery I am working on, it's coming along, happy with it so far.

Just found out maxing out manufacturer affinity awards you a super rare mod. Audi gave me +12% grip +50% credit mod; pretty cool.

Oh nice to know. All sorts of added goodies in this game. :)

I am really hoping to put in at least 1 endurance race over the weekend. Have not tried one yet. Might even try it online with a couple friends.

Whatever you do, don't jump into the deep end like I did. I tried the Sebring 300 first and it took me nearly 3 hours to finish. :ill: I found that the Indy 100 and the Road Atlanta 100 to be the shortest of the enduros at about an hour each.

That is good to know. I would not want a 3 hour endurance for sure. A mild 1 hour would not be too bad. Even online if I set up my own race I would aim for about an hour. Hoping maybe @DDastardly00 and I can try this over the weekend. Maybe get a few other friends in too.

I did the Nurburgring 125 last night and it took me about an hour and 20 minutes. Not too bad. It doesn't really get boring IMO because the track is so long, you are not constantly seeing the same turns at 1 minute intervals. It's only 8 laps lol.

I want to try that for sure. Do they have an endurance there in the rain or at night? I have not even looked at the endurance section yet.

Not that I'm aware of. It was in the day time and it included the GP circuit so you can expect around 9:30 laps times.

I like that one the most because of its's replayability. it has the one the highest payouts and there are quite a few borrow cars to choose from so it won't be the same race every time.

I like chase cam because you can see the car, but in any sim it seems I really suck with it. Interior/bumper I'm alright.

Arcade style games I find no difference haha

I'm split between hood and cockpit usually. Cockpit for most every road car, and hood for some of the more clostrophobic racers. I like Forza's hood view quite a lot, it's massively better than GT's "bumper" cam, with the edge of the car invisible, some indeterminate distance up front. Or the bizarre roof cam.

I might have to try out one of the endurances tonight!

I have over 700 hours in FM5 and hopefully this Friday I will be installing FM6. I can't wait tbh as I've been putting tons of hours in Project Cars and since I unlocked nearly every Cheevo the only thing since have left to do in that game is basically hot lap and set up random races. Cannot wait to get back on Forza.

Okay ty.
I used the 60% credit mod and after VIP and all other bonuses made very close to 900,000cr.
That's a good idea. I will also probably use a car that has a low affinity that way I don't max one out that is already high. Currently I think my Chevy, Ford, or Mercedes affinity is about to hit 20. I don't remember which one since I bounce around to quite a few cars for different events. I will use something unique for the endurance.

If you enjoyed F5 you are in for a treat with F6 because it is miles ahead of F5 by a longshot.
