That is exactly why I leave rewind on. Could not imagine running something like that only to crash and have to do it all over again. Working 60 hours a week I simply don't have enough time to be able to re-run events like that. I applaud your determination to run that with rewind off, no way I would ever do that.

Actually, I think I had rewind on. Always have because of the stupid AI braking all kinds of weird places. It just didn't work. Or maybe I turned it off by accident.

Oh wait maybe you had a mod on that removed rewind. Some of the mods that you add, actually remove other features but don't tell you. Always good to check that in advance. Next time you have a mod on make sure you go to "Assists" to see what the mod removes. There is almost always a hidden catch to each mod. ;)

No, I did not. I used the same Mods, that I've used for the last week or so. So either there's something wrong with the rewind feature in endurance races, or I turned it off by accident. Will have to look next time I play. At least I got second place which didn't leave me emptyhanded. Would have been a lot worse if it happened on one of the longest (most time consuming) races

If anyone with a pad wants an hour and 15 minutes of fraught and fearful racing, might I suggest using the AF Corse 458 Italia for the Nurb 125. Even with the ABS and TC on, I was struggling to keep the damn thing reigned in. Bear in mind that I haven't used any crew mods for endurance races. And without any option to fiddle with the setup in these events, it felt like I was driving on a wet track more often than not.

The entire north section was especially perilous on each of the eight laps. To the point where I virtually obliterated the car on lap six after the tail stepped out on the Kesselchen section. Spent half the lap limping back to the pits and only managed to win because the AI decided to go two laps before pitting as opposed to my three lap stints. I barely scraped ahead of the M3 as I passed on the S/F straight just as it left the pits. With him pinned to my ass for the rest of the race.

10/10 would suffer again.

Yeah, after about lap 85, rewind stops working. Same thing happens on the final corner of every race.

I found rewind became broken a few times when I did the Nurb 125 last night. It used to happen occasionally in FM4 too. You've just gotta be careful...

The Z4 was a fantastic partner. It gets a little slippery at a few turns (the first left of the lap, the other left getting onto the Nordschleife), but it sounds great and is generally pretty grippy. I used the TCS/ASM Off plus -15% grip Mod for 50% more credits, than scraped back some of that grip with one of the crew chief mods, so it was only -6%. Gave myself +60% XP too, which was nice. Walked out with 500,000 Cr, then another couple hundred thousand from the four spins I received, and the remaining Affinity levels that maxed out for BMW.

The Z4 could almost do four lap stints, but it looked like it'd be cutting it close, so I settled for 3. Since the rest of the field was doing 2, it was a pretty easy win for me. Slicing through the touring car traffic was a lot of fun though!

I think I know why rewind suddenly stops working. It happens every time an AI is in the pits. After that, rewind will teleport you backwards instead of "rewinding" you. I must be necessary to do it that way because I noticed it since FM3.

If any of the cars cross the finish line then rewind also won't work.

Thanks for the heads up. I will keep all that in mind. I will for sure be running at least one of these over the weekend. Probably start with Road Atlanta and hopefully Bathurst will unlock. I didn't check last night to see what is necessary for Bathurst to unlock.

Basically why I had to ease a heavily damaged 458 back the the pits last night. I'm somewhat annoyed that it wormed its way into FM6 after the same problem was present two or three games ago. Although it did make for a far more hectic race climax this time around.

And here I thought the 458 did well to eke out an extra lap over the AI. I must have been no more than a mile away from running on fumes by the time I reached the pits after three laps.

Can someone help me find a reply from yesterday? Someone that does not have the game yet was asking if you can see the engine compartment in the 1990 Camaro. So I bought one last night and no, you can not see the engine compartment. I cant find that reply.

Here we go. 👍

I really love Brands Hatch, that is my new favorite track.
Very fun track for sure. Especially in the rain. Nice small track and reminds me of running Tsukuba or Maple Valley. I ran a couple rival events there yesterday using the huge Ford Transit van in the rain. Just for the fun of it.

My favorite "New" track to Forza 6 would have to be Rio and COTA. Just so beautiful and vibrant. Rio has so much life to it. Always a great time running that track.

I managed to drag myself out of the paint editor long enough to race one event last night and it was at Brands hatch, then I did a show case event with the Group 5 BMW which was really fun too. I love the career mode so far.

So far my favorite would happen to be Watkins Glen. Lots of Highspeed corners, and if you absolutely nail them, you can gain a good lead.

I had a race on Tuesday night at Watkins, love that track too, probably my 2nd favorite new track in F6

Disclaimer: I have only raced about half the tracks so far and I've barely touch the different track ribbons, I still have a lot to try out for the first time.

Oh yeah that show case event was a blast and I love that car. In fact I think I bought that car shortly after that event because of how fun it was.

One of the other show case events shortly after that was with a turbo race car called the Zakspeed Turbo. Wow I posted about that in my review of the game. What an incredible event. Actually gave me goose bumps the way the turbo would spool up and pull the car forward insanely fast. Just amazing on the inside view. Pure adrenaline rush.

I must have completed at least 100 multiplayer races now and have still yet to see Monza once, it hasn't even come up on the voting screen a single time. I race all classes below P that have their own lobbies but still shocked that I haven't seen it once.

Has anyone here found Monza in a public multiplayer lobby yet?

One of my friends has a 69 Camaro he runs out at Watkins Glen all the time in real life. That is a fun track for sure. I believe that is the track I ran the Zakspeed Turbo showcase event.

No I have only seen it twice in the campaign. That's another fun track. But you are right, so far I have not seen it online at all.

Count me among the Glen fans. Ever since that Group 5 event, it's been an early favourite. I'm really enjoying Lime Rock too, more challenging than Tsukuba ever was.

Of course, I'm still most excited about Sonoma's return. I 🤬 love that track.

I need to spend more time online. Most of my time is spent with tuning and then afterwards I jump straight into rivals, and an occasional Career race.

However, I think what's stopping me is that I like to build up and collect some cars before I jump into multiplayer. I've been sticking strictly to C class, and I'm not even sure why as I don't really think about doing it, it just happens . I'm going to move on to build some B cars and then most likely start up some more Multiplayer.

I also like Sonoma but I don't think I have been on that track more than 2 times. I think that's another that is missing from the mp hopper and hardly in the campaign. I probably just need to play more and stay out of the paint shop and out of rivals mode.

Yes good idea to have quite a few cars to grab for mp. I went into the non collisions league play last night and it was A class. I only have 1 somewhat tuned A class car. So it got boring quick. So now I need to set up A class cars. doh!

If you do try the Road Atlanta one, I would suggest using the Gallardo Super Trofeo. I'ts AWD so it's easy to drive with no assists. And it can do the entire race on one pitstop without having to hypermile.

Are we able to use any car we want or only specific cars from a list? I have not tried and endurance race yet so I have no idea what restrictions are set.
