Renault Sport Clio R.S. Super Lap

Not sure what you are referring to when you say GTA.

If you are talking about GT Academy then no, it is not allowed.

If you are talking about Grand Theft Auto, I have no idea as I don't play that game.
Hahaha I was talking about GT Academy! Glad to hear that! Thanks again :)

Got 56.0 in 3 attempts, but then I activate SRM because I was boring to stay behind seasonals. Then got gold at first attempt.
Car completely stock less oil change and improved chassis rigidity (410 PP), no TCS, no ASM, SRM activated in a second moment, ABS 1.

9/10 times on this forum GTA stands for Academy ;)

Ran this for about an hour trying to figure out why I was going so much slower than everyone else. Only until after I eventually got gold and looked in here to see how other people were getting on did I realise SRF was a thing in these. TBH, much better to get through them without the use of it.

That's not necessarily true. I've seen Grand Theft Auto mentioned quite a bit around these forums, more than you may realize. That's why I asked for clarification because "GTA" could easily mean either of them....more like a 50/50 split, unless of course you specifically in the Academy forums. Also, TBH, its much better to use SRF if you are trying to be competitive with the leaderboards. ;) Good for you for being a purist though. 👍

Well I for one have never seen it mentioned in the Seasonal time trial threads at least! And yes of course, SRF much faster but, just on a personal level, I couldn't give a monkeys about scoreboards. Personal achievement stands for a greater goal for me, but I can understand some people would feel differently.

To do it with no SRF, I had to get to PP limit (stage 2 or 3 engine upgrade and adjust power) and tune. It was similar to the last TT (Focus on same track) that we ran in WRS. I used a pretty heavy back brake bias 2/9, tightened the gears in the tranny (tranny trick), max front height and rear as low as it would go. I think I put a little negative toe on the rear -.03/-.08. LSD was set to 5/45/5. I think either Doodle's or Vagabond's tune from that TT will help. I know it is a different car, but it will help with the understeer.

The Tesla was also not easy with no SRF, it took me a few laps to get that one too.
Thanks Patrick, it is funny that you mention Doodle's and Vagabond's tunes from TT, that is exactly what I did before I read your reply. I was able to get to low 54's. Thanks! Took me a while on the Tesla too, fun though.

I didn't expect this to be so difficult. Currently at 55.3xx (silver) but I refuse to turn SRF on.
I'll try some setups from FF WRS events as I'm not very good at tuning.
The next 10 lap session should do it.

Alright, thank God we got that straightened out. To each their own. :)

With my personal (noobish) tune, I got a 55.064 and 55.063 one lap after! Gonna try ur guys setup later :D

Is the black & gold color scheme in the picture available in the game?
You know what, after I found that picture I went to look, but sadly, no :( I think maybe that's a special edition or one of those "special package" cars that come with a few extra bits and bobs. I don't know, but, no can't that that colour scheme.

Damn, I hate when I need a time travel machine and the stupid scientists haven't done one yet, lol
For that kind of thing make sure you save your game to a flash drive before you play. Then, if you make an error like changing the oil or buying a terrible car (which I just did), you can exit the game, load the save from the flash drive and it's like it never happened. Instant time machine.

CR already answered this. Ooops.

Very Nice. Got easy 52.8 in about 10 minutes or so using controller. Tune should easily run in the 51's in the right hands. Good work and thanks for posting.👍

Thanks, i'm happy you like this set... Good luck :D
I like it too !

0:53:387 on my second lap, rank 890 right now.

I'm sure there is still a lot of improvement in the laptime, but I tried this to cool down a little after trying the Tesla seasonal. 🤬 car

Feel somewhat more relaxed now ;)

Edit: went for toe 0,30 and 0,00

Now place 417 with 0:52:976

Hi Mantuofermo
thank you for sharing and nice time !!!
super tuning 👍
my time with DS3, No aids except ABS1 and manual: 0.54.127

"Here in France, many Clio RS, but never seen tires with comfort ..."
has soon

While I was expecting the Tsukuba Hot lap to be annoying, I wasn't expecting this combo to piss me off so much. Nothing I do works, I just have no idea how to dial out the frustraiting understeer in this car and its just making me fume right now.

I used Praiano's 450pp tune, and removed some power. My first lap was silver, and my second was gold. I'm a pretty mediocre driver, but it placed me in the top 20! Of course, this was only minutes after the seasonal began ;) I just noticed that I'm now slightly on the wrong side of 1000. My time was in the low 53's.
