If i had more time with car and tune, then i could get very close to 1:40:xxx, but I'm only guessing after 2 hours of playing i can only assume that 1:40 might be possible. But hell with that what is done is done 👍 I did my lap with three big mistakes, so i know that there is much more to fix.

Now just give us final results and let's start new round.

Nice...I was under complete impression that this round was ending on May 7th (which I think was what it originally said), but today I decided to check this topic out and saw people submitting times. I was like WTH? So early? Then I looked at the date, now it says May 4th...Hm...Was I really sleepy when I originally looked at it? Anyway, I didn't have much time now cause I'm going to play soccer in a few, but I had about 20 minutes to play, so I put together the best time I could. Probably going to be about 3-4 seconds slower than the best

Bit of an update, because of some weather-related troubles on behalf of Chris (Zeeco_9) his time has been added, and now that he occupies fourth place everyone below has shifted one place effectively losing points.

I can, if everyone is okay with it, leave everything the same, or rather put it back to the way it was, and award both Zeeco and Rom 24 Points each.

Thoughts?

Kudos for Zeeco 👍 my vote is for awarding him fully deserved 26 points Difference between lap times are getting smaller and smaller.

Sorry guys if I have messed things a bit. The UK was battered by strong winds the past few days and the the phonelines in my village came down due to fallen trees. Rural Wales is not high priority repair patch for British Telecom. My internet connection was only restored today, hence my late submitted time. I apologise guys but it was beyond my control. I am leaving my time on Autolog for your verification.

Anyway, like most of you guys, I tried all the tricks in my book to get the laptime down. Soft suspension / hard suspension / little to no downforce to high downforce / endless fiddling with the gear ratio's etc etc and countless 1.46xxx laps. For some reason I could not top 180 mph, whatever I tweaked. In the end I came to the conclusion that the car is probably not capable of much less than 1.45xxx so I was happy with my time (not brilliant but there we go).

I see no reason why you shouldn't have such an option to. I'd imagine they'd get in your way though.

Just did it with a pack of 8 cars on hard. I was was unhindered. 2 cars stayed way ahead of me (annihilated my time) & the rest stayed about 2 seconds behind me. This spread happens on the first lap where it's hard to set a good lap cause the tyres are cold.

Could it be an option for the chooser of the event to have AI cars on/off, amount of & difficulty of?

It'd be better if left on a per individual basis. Doing otherwise might make what's left of the competitors here uncomfortable in some. I know for me, personally, I like to run by myself - a private track day of sorts. Having to worry about the possibility crashing in to, or slowing for the AI would just futz up my otherwise good run.

I will add both options from R6 and onward though.

Congrats to podium.

For the record, my amazing lap time was of 1:44:2xx. So I knew at the time I could've gone to 1:45 with just a bit of effort but for some reason I just couldn't.

Sad, because I do 1:46 quite easily on "the other game" and this is why I had high expectations for this round. Never again

Can we adjust the steering lock if necessary or is that considered tuning? I ask this because of the different wheel settings.

I even tried it yet. Excuse me If I'm asking for something that is not necessary.

Hmm, good question i want to know that too. Because not everyone uses wheel some guys might use pads. So steering lock is different for wheel and pad.

And the SLS AMG is 1070 rating right ?

I agree. My suggestion is to adjust it to what you feel is right for whatever you use. Trust me you are going to need all the help you can get this round
