I don't know why you guys don't like this car so much (918 I mean). For me it's just a pleasure to drive, you have to watch out but it will play nice if you treat it well.

This car is a beast, treat it like one. That's how I go under 1:58 <- Yes THAT time...

This car intimidates me but it can be tamed with a bit of pratice. The Huayra on the other hand...

@ussr - AWESOME lap there. You were not joking when you said you like to slide 👍

Thanks.

I worked so hard on that lap time. Entire week day by day i tune 918 to perfection, work on tire pressure, suspension, gearing. I felt how it changes in handling, i basically learn how every change effects on the car. And now i can finally tell i learn how to tune car. How a single change can give you advantage or take it away from you.

And i have to admit that we all didn't appreciated enough T-12 awesome work in Renown Tuning. It toked me seven days to put some good changes on the car and this guy some times puts tunes to couple of cars in one day !!! :scared:

Anyway next round of WTC-3 is to honor he's awesome work. A proper message has been send. So stay tuned for next round of WTC-3 cause this might be the hardest chase of them all.

Much appreciated, ussr. Much appreciated.

Next round is going to be good. Real good. :mischievous:

Now if only I knew how to tune a car properly...

ussr, care to share your tune? for the sake of thread completion? :P

So, London it is for R3... we're doomed :D

For some reason, I just did not get on with the Spyder. I sort of knew my time was average as I could not deliver WOT without sliding all over the track. Tried for 3 days dialling the Porsche in, but did not really get anywhere, but o well that's racing; better luck next time.

Congratulations to ussr with a blistering lap. Your patience paid of mate. Nitro a good solid lap as usual (Mr Consistant :sly:). Romknight I watched your time coming down yesterday, faster by the hour! Well done mate you deserve to be on the podium (a force to be reckoned with 👍)

This WTC is going to be GOOD :dopey:

My attention span only endures so much and every corner is a new place for a mistake...

I admit I a bit of luck comes into play for at least one lap to be "perfect". Like I said, I even tried the new tune from T-12 (car a bit more stable and all) but I just couldn't do it.

Every season a few people say the exact same thing and it winds up being a lot closer than you'd think.

I haven't played the London River variant since Shift 1... Or I did on this one and just forgot.

Either way... :scared:

Times

S1: 25.523
S2: 28.097
S3: 22.691

The pressure is ON, and it's only Monday.

Since I tend to run my rounds (if it's alright with ussr that is, he's the one who actually won last round - not me) I like to pressure the competition.

The time to beat (as of right now) is 1:16.145. And that lap was a mix of precision and pure sloppiness. :D

I'll watch my Red Wings win (hopefully), then I'll get on the grind and see what can be done about this time before bed. Good luck to us all :)

Update time!

S1: 25.025
S2: 28.362
S3: 22.258

My lap for the session? Check Autolog, you'll see it. :mischievous:

I'm telling you this now so it won't be a surprise later. You'll join the herd :D

@T-12
I hope I send the invitation for the right nick. I want to see that lap...

I'll tell you now, I'm well on my way. I'm just far too lazy to walk a few steps upstairs to my laptop to change my avatar and stuff. :odd:

Yep. You did.

And I could have sworn we were already on each others friends list. :scared:

First day of battle and it's already tough. But iron curtain is down that means not battle but war.

I managed to tune the car to go where I want but I am slow as hell. Haven't seen your times yet. PS3 is on but I'm not at home to see your times

Okay, I'm loving this round. Such a fun drive! :D

I don't even care if I get even remotely close to T's time. :P

That it is (fun). Lets see what I can do with a few beers a scotch :D

If you guys don't see my time on the wall its because I went thru it :D

Bit of advice: take a good look at the track and it's corners on your recon lap, and then work up ways to brake as late as absolutely possible and power through the corners with a bit of powersliding.

Also, engine braking is your best friend.

T-12 your first split time  is something i don't understand  👍 👍 👍 I did ask you to give us a beating ........... not murder us all!

I think I know how to get ate least close but i'm unable to hit the 1st "right corner right" :(

And I think the 1st sector is where the overall time is (lost to me :D)

Controlling this car is hard but at least i'm not 20 seconds off the pace now :D

I could use a bit of knowledge on how to properly tune a car so I won't lose too much time trying different parameters and concentrate only on lap times.

I'm starting to enjoy this car though..
