T-12 your first split time  is something i don't understand  👍 👍 👍 I did ask you to give us a beating ........... not murder us all!

Watch the replay if you want to see how I take every corner without batting an eyelid; the first lap is the 1:15, everything after was just me wasting the 5 minutes. And I should update the tune with what I've used because I can comfortably run precision laps all day now...breaking in to the 1:15's but I can't beat my own damn fast lap. :P

May I ask when you'll update the tune? 💡

Regarding your lap time, take another glass of wine, I'm buying :P

In a couple of minutes. I forgot to write the changes down.

As for the liquid courage..I'm already driving insanely enough as is, I don't need further encouragement.

I'll be happy to take a traveler's glass though.

lol, It's good to see another batch of racers in the WTC go through what some of the old WTC contestants went through at London River. I remember the first time I did a WTC with T-12 at London River I PM'd him after the final times were posted and asked him if he was wall riding at London River because he smoked us so bad.

Join the the competition! It seems you know your way around 👍

I can say now this is much fun car to drive, after lot of tune-work. When i first drive it it was all over the place, but it was really my first attempt to play Shift 2 :/ Not very wise and i was fully disappointed but at least i know now what needed to be change in every car in order to keep in is straight line. No steer lag no disappointment 👍 Now this is fun :)

What is it you need to change? I think all of us .. around the globe???... want to know :P

[edit]
Now that I mention it... you can notice the steering lag with a G27...

Due to recent events, unless PSN service resumes before Saturday Autolog submission is waived for this weeks competition. Just PM your final time to me.

Results will go up later on in the day. If anyone has failed to submit a time you have until 2:30 this afternoon, Eastern time, to do so.

Lap time submitted. I'm lucky that i found some time to tune and drive in London River earlier in past week. Sadly i Didn't have time to shake some more time because of holidays and family reunion. My sister bring her Kinds and they toked over my PS3 and went deep into the future to some Fallout 3 world

But i think i can say Congratulations T-12 👍 good job with the car and track. I had better second split time by 0:00.700 but had still + 0:00:900 in first.

R4 goes up shortly, half an hour maybe. I already have everything in mind I just need to test it out, gents.

R4 is now LIVE and the OP has been updated with the results from R3.

Time submitted.

I did an amazing laptime while tuning but that was because I cut the track in an accident and didn't register :D

Anyway, the speedwall will show something different when PSN comes up (tomorrow?)

Monza in GT5 is a whole 4 seconds faster but maybe my Murcielago had a bit of more of power than this GT1. I really don't remember now :D

The chicane after the lesmo corners and the one at the end of the start/finish straight are more sharp than in GT5 also (no?) plus, those bumps really make it difficult because you just can't touch'em without jumping.

Also at the last right turn I blew up the front right tire when I touch the grass (a "bit" much into it :D) just after release of the brakes on the apex and suddenly I saw the wheel crossing in front of the car.

Amazing. Are punctures possible? I certainly did not touch the armco (maybe a bug in modeling?

It's a bug, I've had it many times. I call it 'the floating debris' bug, usually situated on the apex of a curve the debris floats, then when you hit it the wheel usually falls off. It's weird, and annoying.

For the record, the Blancpain endurance series last month at Monza cause puncture troubles throughout the race. Because of that and because it never happened to me on any other track (and I tried them all) I'll take this bug as a feature :D

It makes the game 10% cooler. It would be 20% cooler if I could use a pit stop to change that tire (you can - slowly drive the car with 3 wheels on tarmac) :D

Lap time submitted.

I'm happy with my lap time. Could not do more, and by more i mean less :)

Well maybe, but i had less time to play. Still I've manage quite good lap time without any cutting and sliding.

I don't think you can cut in this track anyway. Every time I tried a new line / new brake point / made an error (not :D) and "crash" over the bumps on chicanes I got the "cut" warning so laps don't count.

Sliding costs me time.

So our lap times should be close, difference between them is in tunning :)

Or not, because of the tuning.. I'm not that good at it... :(

I thought I would do a better time based on GT5 but that did not happen.

And the guy above me is grinning... :P

Hmm i guess mine lap time is not even close to your amazing time, knowing what you wrote you should be somewhere in 1 minute and 40 seconds. Cause i had only like 2 hours of test and play, and i did much worse than 1:40.999

As for me, did it again i mistake time zones and i submitted my time 24 hours before deadline. Just can't imagine how that could happen. Anyway now ill wait for results and round 5 cause i want to forget about Monza Lambo combo

My amazing time (in this game) was made while tuning and a fly over the 1st chicane (got distracted... :D). For some reason, it didn't count as a cut. Also it wouldn't be in Autolog.

[edit]
I just remember my previous post. Is that what you talking about? If so, I said that because of my experience in GT5... where yes, I can run VERY low on the 40s :D I even remember my first time time there with an F430 Scuderia... :D Best time with a Murcielago though.
[/edit]

I couldn't get anywhere near a 1:40.999 either, I know I'm not the greatest driver on Shift but, I can't see how it would be humanly possible with that car.

Well i mention about 1:40.xxx because i can imagine that the winner of 4 round probably will reach that target. My lap is far from 40, and 41 and 42 ... and so on and on :)

Probably we would see the real potential of Monza Lambo Combo when T-12 post final results.

You might be expecting a little too much awesome from me with a 1:40.xxx. Not with this car and definitely not with a DS3. :P
