My first tries were a bit... messy so I had to set the damage to visual only

What I did to help was one opponent and racing line and I tried to stay behind him always at the same distance. Eventually you'll notice you can pass them on almost every corner because they brake to soon, but try no to do that and just stay with the AI. Try during the day first for visibility.

After a few laps you should have a good Ideia on how to go around the track and keep that throttle under control. After that just keep pushing but now without the AI.

Taking 5seconds off is another story but at least you'll be able to do the Eliminator event later in career mode

I gave up after one lap. I can't stand how this car oversteers like it's driving on ice. I can't drive it hard at all without the wall giving me a bear hug.

Well I felt the same way when I tried the first few laps. If I can give you some advice though. I have noticed in SU2 grip does increase as the tyres heat up (unlike Shift1). It is a night race so the tyres are going to take longer to heat up. Set your time limit to a minimum of 10 minutes. You will feel the grip increase slowly but surely. Hope this helps mate 👍

Practice makes perfect. This car is easy peasy to control on this track after you put in about 8-10 hour into it like I did. Ok, maybe not totally control, but ask it nicely to go fast and sometimes it will do what you ask of it Almost broke through the 1-18 but @@@@ed up sector 3 real bad. Was reaaaaaaaally pissed off about that. Can't repeat that lap anymore I'll give it a couple more days but maybe I've reached my limit with this combo.

2. To went under 1:17 You don't have to drive worming up tires. Just one first lap is enough. But you have to know the car perfectly and know gearing and corners.

3. Just like previous i did calculations and from adding together my best Split times from different laps, it could be possible to go under 1:16

2. 39.315
3. 12.436

FL 1:15.974 might be possible

Simply stunning lap But try worm up tires and you might set a blasting record for this one. 👍

I used to be within a window of +/- a second in reach of a podium finish. It slowly crept up to a bit more. It has reached the stage now where it is 5 to 7 seconds slower than pole. I think it is time to call it a day

Yesterday I had that ONE lap where I took about .300s off my previous best. All the others I crashed... Clearly wasn't my day

I'll mess with the pedal settings again. I can't seem to find that point where I have control over braking/throttle in this car. Every time we change to a new "super car" I have trouble. My settings are fine to everything from D do GT1 cars (expect steering lock) but with pedals I notice some serious changes.

So, I'd like to suggest the following from the next round forward: We can configure not only steering lock but also brake pressure on the cars. I can't drive with ABS in this game so this really changes my cornering (lack of) ability. Everything else I can do in the options menu.

What do you guys think?

I don't really have a favourite car or track. There are just some cars I can't quite keep under control at all times. About tracks... hmm.. I have to check that but liking a track and being good at it are two completely different things

I just play whatever you guys throw at me. Its the same for every one so I can't really complain.
