I'll try Goodwood for hot laps but may go looking for a Silverstone GP track as I've driven the fake version (Northampshire GP?) many times. I saw this video and will go for Historix, F1 2005 + 2006, Enduracers Endurance Series, Corvette, NSX and Supra MK IV, and DRM Revival. I tried a Group C revivial mod but the interiors looked absolutely awful. I got a mod with 150 race cars and some Nurburgring tracks but none of the cars worked so I'm gonna delete that mod today.

That Noddy Mod  going to download that for the boy...and install rfactor again after 2 years 👍 with the mods really jas it's trial and error all personal preference. there was a Porsche cup mod 2007 i think that was awesome. Just get the lite version from rfactor and use that as the base for testing mods , also get the mod manager so you can swith easily between mods .. conflicts will always happen with mods so the lite version effectively turns a mod into a standalone game. 120meg i think it was then the mod = game size

I will try to only have 1 mod for each series or whatever. So I'm only going to have 1 2005 F1 mod, 1 2006, 2007 etc. If there is a mod that crashes my game frequently or if it is poor quality, then I will delete it immediately.

Yeah just have a Rfactor folder then in that multiple R-factor folders with individual mods i did have one install that was 10gb at one point. And it was a pain to fix things plus searching through thousands of cars is a pain too and long start up's :D

So, have an Formula rFactor, GT Racing rFactor, Stock Car rFactor, Street Car rFactor etc. right?

I do the same. Working on a new EnduRacers WES install.

However WES cars have terribly short gearboxes :irked: and also, I am getting very blurry textures :odd:

So I'm trying to take some cars from another mod and put them in enduracers (don't like the physics in the other mod, cars just don't feel right to me). How would I go about making all the necessary changes so that it all shows up?
It's the .veh files. Very last line determines where the vehicle shows up. You'll have to do it individually for each car/team you want to be included in the mod.

As for physics, that's handled by the .hdv files. I've never changed any of that stuff so I don't know exactly what to change.

Right. I can just about run it on max, with 60FPS on most tracks with just me, with the NASCAR cockpits bringing it down to 30 and other cars on screen bring it to 30 to. Having 30-40 cars on screen does bring down to 20-25FPS. Yeah, my PC is crap

Edit: By NASCAR cockpits, I mean the ones on the default NSCRS's you get with the base game

I'm around same. Adjusting physics though for all cars is annoying. Done the 3 LMP1 cars, and also given them 1000 instead of 500hp to bring them a bit more realistic. P2 cars hit 160 ish, I think they do closer to 175 IRL. GTE not touched yet.

You can adjust a car's physics!? How?

I downloaded a Group C mod, and I'm getting errors for the Porsche 935, it seems to be the cockpit that's giving me grief. :grumpy:

Was it DRM Group C Revivial? That was the mod I got. No errors, just poor quality cockpit.

There was a VLN German Endurance Mod (Forget the full name) that gave an error anytime you tried to load any of the cars.

Edit: The german one wasn't group C, it was just a bunch of race cars

I may do a silly experiment, with giving the Formula ISI 2500HP when I get back. Imagine the speed!

1000hp in my LMP1 cars now. Any idea how much the Lotus LMP put out?

Also WES P2s are 5 seconds quicker at Shanghai then enduseries P2, yet have identical top speed and weigh 80kg more :odd:

Better Aero perhaps? Maybe better gear ratios for that track?

What cars are included, if there is a lot then you can just post a link and I can download it when I get home

Yeah mate exactly but you can have just single mods if you want then there is zero chance of a conflict just copy and paste controller file to each install then it all set up ready to roll.

Edit: Actually just thought have you bought steam version may be different

Oh god that is just my dream mod!

Edit: @vasiliflame Oh yeah, controller setup. That's what is holding me back from doing multiple installs. My controller setup is completely different from standard (Only original buttons are start for info, R1 for LC, L1 for look behind and X for Request Pit)
