Hello everyone.
First post at gtp. (checkin it out on a daily basis since gt5)

The more i play this game the more i like it.
i even saw the new gt6 update and i was like...ok... i'll think about it.

Pro physics(no aids) are really good and give a good feeling, except the braking,i don't think you need so much rear brake IRL.But then again i love it that you can't trailbrake(took me so long to get used to it for gt6 but is not an option for most motorcycles,a lil bit of rear brake maybe...).
Also the way the bike rotates around it's axis could be more smooth,no matter how vicious you land a wheelie IRL it won't cause the rear wheel to lift off the ground but the rider will lift off the seat for sure.

Online should have all the bike categories the offline mode has like pre modern superbikes and classic supersports or even more.

Overall is a great bike game and deserves support like some people already said.
Let's hope Milestone will update this game(bug fixes,DLC,etc) and not give up on it like they did with mxgp(great game also but with broken online mode and they never fixed it).

Anyone on ps3 looking for some clean online racing, please add me.

Sorry for my english...

Guys if you do the "Pro circuit" races/categories, i recommand the R1, sounds nice and handles beautiful. The KTM in that categorie is a pain from a standing start (it will wheelie 100% if full throttle is used).

That's my most recent purchase, same livery too. I added green mirrors and red wheels to match the Castrol colours.

So I finally decided to get the Yamaha 2015 pack and... OMG the R1M is an amazing bike!!! I love it to bits! Looks, handles and sounds great - no wonder it wins every motorcycle group test in 2015

I've been really tempted to buy this pack as I have money in my account. What are the paint options for the three bikes?

Well the R1M has only one colour scheme and that's the one we get, the R1 unfortunately has one colour scheme (blue) but not the red as offered by the factory. The R6 on the other hand has 3 schemes: Matt grey with gold wheels, race blu scheme and one more, I'm not 100% sure but I think it's white.

I haven't tried the R1 and R6 cuz you have to purchase them for credits but unfortunately the R1M cannot be fitted with an aftermarket exhaust system and I assume the same thing for the R1.

R1M: Cr.28,000
R1: Cr.21,000

I did wonder. Ty for the response. I'm not the biggest fan of these bikes, a few paint options might have made them tolerable lol.

The R1M is an absolute beast, to the point where I actually managed the "pass the track day loony" in the Yamaha group, despite him being on the full race prep R1. Sounds pretty sweet too.
I'll be adding the specs for them all into my spreadsheet later today, but I really love the R6, a good balance between power and control, but that's pretty much the same through all the 600cc's in the game to be fair.

I found it rather odd that I couldn't get them at first without the season pass, then reading the season pass details it said something along the lines of ",,,, a further two packs,,," So they would appear to be counting these packs as parts of the season pass' four overall, yet were part of the pre-order bonus too. (Goddam Amazon screwed me over on preorder, with no bonus, despite Milestone's claim that everyone who preordered would qualify for one or both)

Let's see how this plays out, as there's some really notable bike mysteriously absent from the game right now. Hayabusa and Blackbird being the two I was expecting to see.

EDIT: Both the R1 and M variants have fixed styling, in so much that you cannot change the exhaust or the livery, whereas the R6 has the three liveries plus fourteen exhausts, plus the stock one.

EDIT 2:

I expect the Hayabusa too, together with the ZX14R.

Would really like some aftermarket pegs, windscreen, tank protector and more damn paint options.

And I wish for supermotos :)

Oh man i stumbled over a giltched race series again (PS3)......i can not drive the "naked heavy-weight" series, the game won't load the races. The loading screen appears and then it stays like that forever, it never reaches the part where you can look at your customized bike.

I can still quit the game with the home button, though it leads to a automatic restart of my ps3. All my data (bikes, rep, credits) is there, had no corrupt info or something.

The same happens when i leave the "world tour" mode and want to enter "quick mode".....unlimited loading screen.

I also think if they delivered a complete game without all the glitches it would be fun too! They have probably shifted their focus to MotoGp15 already, Ride is already in their mirrors. Maybe they'll get it right when they need to refill their wallets again and come out with Ride2

Probably more pressure on them to deliver on motogp being a licensed game. Probably has a better foundation from the previous games as well.

This is my fear too, was hoping the updates would be out before I was ready to make a purchase... Its not looking good right now though

PCARS will be here soon, and its going to be hard to split time between games! Unless RIDE is fixed, i'm affraid it will be on the backburner for some time to come!

I've sort of put RIDE on hold for now. I seriously hope they'll bring the patch out very, very soon. I'd love to proceed in World Tour to the championships and Elite Events without having to fear the save file bug.

This is interesting. I just loaded it up after a couple of days and the corrupt data message displayed. I pressed cancel and it went to the initial character screen. I quit back to dashboard and pressed the option button to close the game fully. I then went into the game folder and viewed the install and separate save file. When I started the game again, it loaded my original file without issue.

Maybe the corrupt message is a bug or I just got lucky?

On what are you playing? I'm on PS4 and also tried to Cancel. The message game back, again and again. Then I rebooted it and still got the error.

I've not encountered any issues with the elite events, only the championships, so I think you may be okay to run them, but to be safe make a backup of your save on a usb stick or psn before entering. I tend to do this every few hours of play now, alternating between cloud and usb storage for two separate stages of security.

I've completed all elites a while ago.
No issues.
PS3.
I've got very few things left to do in this game now except championships, and they'll probably never get fixed.
At least, not before MGSV comes out in September..........

Elites are safe

:irked:👍

I did all the Elite Events, no problems there, also I am World Tour Rank 1 with about 600k reputation. The only race series so far that are glitched on my PS3 are the Championships and heavy-weight naked bike series....ah jeah and the game crashes when i leave the World Tour mode.

Wasn't all that stuff patchfixed for the PC Version allready?

Update from the milestone FB page:
Hi Gamers,

Patches have been finalized and awaiting approval by the platform holders: we expect to provide updates within the next week.

We are concentrating on the most annoying issues for the players like stability and saves corruption. Once the patches get approved we’ll provide a detailed fix list.

Moreover, our intention is to fully support the game in the upcoming weeks and months.

Thank you for understanding.

They'd be daft not to support it. In the world of monetization, their own IP gives them far more scope than Moto GP would.

It dawned on me yesterday there were no sports tourers in the VFR or Super Blackbird mould.

Future dlc perhaps? In a pack that also includes the Hayabusa

Just for the hell of it along with the pic of the 350lc I posted before, here's
another bike I had many moons ago...

Great in a straight line, but at 233 kg it was a handful otherwise :lol:

ps. Milestone can put one into RIDE if they want :D

edit: edited to correct weight

One thing about the bike list in this game, there's very little crossover with TT, so both remain relevant. :-)
