Oh boy, I've just had my first moment where I really clicked with this game. The '98 R1 on the Riviera track. Absolutely sweet handling bike and a nice flowing track.
Compared to my Street Triple starter bike, it's just so much more willing to turn and hold a line, plus it feels much more suited to laying a tyre mark out of a corner than the Triumph. Absolutely love the game now.

While it is the most glitchy bike I've gotten yet, it is the coolest. I mean seriously! Look at that rear tire!
The bike is badly glitched though. It has no handlebars, no mirrors (only the reflective part appears), and the wheels have no lighting whatsoever.
And also, I got the 8 second wheelie achievement.
For at least 10 seconds.

Some more slow-mo stuff I decided to put together. Love the crash animations (despite some solidity issues here and there) but really wish they'd left in the animation for the guy to run and retrieve the bike. It appears that this may be there, as I have seen him get up and run a few paces before I got reset onto the bike. Then again, it would then become a chaotic mess online, with people deliberately hunting you down so you never get back on the bike.
(Yes, I would willingly join in this new form of trolling too, lol)

Biker rage overload, lol
It's not the first somersaulting ai I've caused, but this was the first one close enough to a camera to see it through properly, so it made it to video. Might have to do a few runs where I try to take out entire groups of other riders. (all ai, of course, I have no respect for them, lol)

Pretty sure I could make some Clarkson-esque quip about the nationality
of the devs, but I know I probably shouldn't
So I won't
All I will say is that such bugs are the other side of the coin that delivers
the epic rider animations
It's so hard not to when the game is made in such an Italian way.

Me too, but even if there was one that I could see on Xbox, I'd not buy the season pass blindly given the duplicate nature of the core bike list. Unlike Forza, I think this is definitely a wait and see decision.
Really clicked with my Street Triple tonight. Got it upgraded with slicks now to get gold on the time trial track and it feels like great fun. Dare I say it, but the way the bikes move around on your command actually feels better than TT. Now if it could just get some older sports bikes and Strokers as DLC, then it'd be one heck of a package.
Discovered the joy of x0.1 speed replays as well. I love slow motion so this addition was right up my street.

Really love the fact that there is ai fallibility in this game, this is the start of the first endurance series event I tried. I never touched anyone! ( Mid-pack Kawasaki in the grey suit and skid lid)
I only saw the one guy fall during the race, and was surprised by what I saw unfold during the replay.

I went for the demo today and quite enjoyed it. Handling was far better than their last title (was that only last year?)
Anyway, still undecided but I've only really played for twenty minutes or so - also, please excuse the wheelie shots which probably have already been done-to-death.

Did two online races. What do the points you win really mean? I've won both races but I assume if you don't you lose them as I saw people with less than the 1000 you start with. If you lose all then what?
And I've changed my driver title a couple of times now but still haven't got the trophy for it.
