RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

Full Audi... I only went wide, ya know :P At least I'm able to keep up with you guys... *coughcoughOnboy1337coughcough*
Oh give it a rest, will ya? I told you, I HATE Trial Mountain.

And you shoved me into the wall, you insufferable git  I had the line, you saw a space that was so small only an ant could get through, and smashed me into a wall.

Ayrton Senna said that.

Now if you'll excuse me...

How many have you got? I know you have one from me to dupe the paint, and one for the LFA GT link, but that's it…

Exactly. I have the LFA GT and the pink one I've so far done nothing but put wheels on for fun. If I wanted them for paint chips I'd buy them on my other profile and just send the chips over. :dunce:

Ooooh I don't know if I can give you a request for that one Zach, it's a bit short you know. ;)

Thanks for taking the LFA drifting though, at least it's slidey nature is good for something. :D Personally I like the STi400 RJ did with SS tyres up front and CM's out back. Ken Block aint got nothing on this. :sly:

It's okay as you already covered all the cars I want...

Haha, it's a pleasure. I shall try RJ's tune tomorrow.

Pffft…! I have 3 of my favourite road car, the Ford GT. One was the one I bought with the money I had left from selling my first LFA and has nearly 1500 miles on the clock. The other one is a bone-stock one for a review that's coming up and my 3rd one is one for MFT.

I then have two CT230R's. One is the one RJ tuned, the other is a MFT one. I also have 3 NSX's, one is the one used in the first comparo between the RE rx7 and NSX, the other is the black one that was useless in that race of ours, and the last one was from Zach.

Yo RJ in case you missed it I published my tune for the first rotarys first!:D

So after you get finished telling me everything wrong with them you can finally get around to publishing your own Ultraman tunes.

Here's a Mazda RX-7 R400 Review!

So they other day I dug out my old RX7 drifter. Looking a sorry sight in gloss black with some hideous wheels, and with a lack of any real parts on it, it was perfect for a bit of boredom-busting...
...now painted up in reflex spice with new pearly white wheels and some new aero parts, I actually have an RX7 to be proud of.

Now to the tune! And don't worry, I did more than just drive in a straight line in the rain...

First up was a quick blast around Grand Valley East, with the R400 as set up by RKM. With a few sweeping corners and a lot of straights, it's perfect for starting simple with testing. And perfect was the R400, the gearbox especially seems perfectly tuned for Grand Valley. The tuned up rotary rocket has great cornering and acceleration that's perfect for tracks like this, with minimal wheelspin out of corners even with my thumb flailing at the right stick. I did get the rear loose a few times, but it's the same old RKM tune story, predictable and hilarious fun too, you can hang out the rear for as long as you want or snap it back in an instant, and the rear tyres just grip again and shoot you towards the next corner.

But that's not all...I wanted to make this more of an R570, and try it out fully tuned. And if I'm honest, I think this car was made for full power and RS tyres :sly: it just keeps on gripping and pushing, the gearbox even more perfect for this amount of power. Admittedly the tail is a bit happier to slide, but it still has that controllability that makes it very easy to recover.

So overall, definitely a 9/10...it's no NSX-slayer, especially not with my driving, but it's just as fast and fun :D

I intend to...although it will probably end up just a show-off car, since nobody races online these days :(
Well……now that Andre has no PS3, we do need someone to fill in his slot for when me, Roj, C-ZETA do our racing……and I need some help in doing a smash up review of the top 3 worst cars in GT5. :D The list?
Citreon 2CV
VW Beetle Type 11

YAY! :D

So……the layout…I think we should do a demolition derby :D (I also think we should take the discussions to VMs before RJ hits me over the head with a cane tomorrow)
