RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

It's written in the tune. :P

I mixed up :

Transmission
Transmission
(Set Final 1, then Max Speed, then Final 2 + individual ratios.)
1st:-- 5.499
2nd:-- 3.378
3rd:-- 2.775
4th:-- 2.273
5th:-- 1.858
6th:-- 1.584
Final: 3.585/2.500
Max Speed: 112 MPH

I thought the maxspeed 112 is the one that I had to put, the set final 1 and 2 that's were I was  plus the + sign should be replaced with "then" (just for the dummies like me)

Thank you for the help :D

Nissan 300ZX (Parts installed, stock settings): 1st gear is short. Understeer due to high amount of power. Back end loose even though with downforce applied. Even if you don't want, it will bite you. When the car wants. You can't control that.
Dragon ZX: 275km/h max speed?! 1st gear too short. Car don't respond fast enough, which may make you lose some seconds. But once it points out on a short straight, it delivers a punch of acceleration that makes you fly thru the straights.
Still, the handling could be improved, as well the transmission.
7/10 to Sapphire.

GGRRRRRRRR!!! I STILL CANT BEAT THE SEASONAL! Not with the Aventador, not with the R34 TC, Not with the McLaren F1 Race Car, not with the Zonda LM car!

IM GOING NUTS! HELP!

Nooby advice, lamp.

Take the Ricer35 stealth edition and slap a high rpm turbo and race softs on it. play with limiters if needed. easy peasy.

Stealth edition? What, the fakeR35 Super GT? Why would he want that? Isn't that car just trying to be a R35 but isn't one? And unless you use really stupid settings, that thing will not play nice on anything other than a track as flat as an airfield.

Or do you mean the noobtastic R35 Black Edition? In which case, you may as well use the TC and be done with it already.

Your reactions should have been delayed. It works well in any track :P

(apart from the kick that kinda goes, umm, near your balls)

i wish i could beat it with my 900+ hp R35 , but i have no setup for that one (still runs stock diffs, stock suspension and stock transmission)

Any setup that makes worth trying, PM me them!

And the other one of those tunes, some kind of experimental Ferrari race car called the SP-1R...

I'd love to see this.

Right, I've forgotten to do the gearbox since the moment I posted it and it got pointed out. I'll fix it once I'm back home, so next week or so.

OK, please send me a Visitor Message when it´s done, so I can write my review.

For now, reset to default, set top speed to minimum, then set the final drive to minimum, set 1st at max length, 4th and onward as short as possible, and set 3rd to split the difference between 2nd (default) and 4th. 1st will probably be too long but it'll be better.

I´ll try that, thanks. 👍

EDIT: Doing this yields a rally-like transmission. A bit uncomfortable for a car this size and power.

Also, it's CUV. Crossovers, hateful things that they are, have their own TLA. An SUV to me is, well, an SUV.

Crossover Utility Vehicle? That makes even less sense than Sports Utility Vehicle. Especially since SUVs aren´t sporty at all.

to the poor lad looking to do the Seasonals (I commiserate with you) I just finished them. One I already commented on in the past; it was the 400 and the 650 PP's that were giving me gas.

So I tried RJ's RX8 03 tune and ran :47s for laps and finished 2nd by a good margin. So I changed tyres to S3s instead. That was the trick! :42s with those and a 9 second 1st place finish. I did try the electric but I found it to be a massive POS in my hands. Next was Focus 06 which did remarkably well and likely I could have won using that.

For the 650PP I tried something I found in another thread... it was actually Onboy's hatred of the car that made me try it. GT-R R35 TC. I didnt read all the particulars just some posts made after the tune (Praiano's to be more precise) and thought "what the hell lets give it a go"... made the final pass at last turn on last lap... yes a lil bumpin occurred but ce la vie!

True the Aventador is my current FAVORITEST car in dawhoalwydwirld (as stated many many times now), and yes BoB loves it too for the 650s but in my hands I cannot drive it as well as it deserves.

Other than that, I have to *gulp* suggest (?) *gulp* the 2J... which, to me, feels like cheating in a way. I abhor using that thing to win stuff. I shouldnt be skirting the event's purpose. With all the awesome tunes available from all the guys and gals putting the time in to them, to make them available to us, and even sharing said cars for those who dont have them; it feels like a cheap victory using that car. And on that note, since I won the Seasonals for 1st time in a looong time on A-Spec, I raise a pint to you tuners out there. And likely by the time I finish said beer, Ill be B-Speccing my way home safely. ;)

Can you hand me over that R35 TC tune then?

Can you hand me over that R35 TC tune then?

You know, tuning the R35 TC is as pointless as trying to tune a X1. Just slap the parts on, racing slicks, bam! 2nd place is the minimum result, at best a 10 second lead over the 2nd place car.

Lampuhkap
Can you hand me over that R35 TC tune then?

You should be able to run it without any suspension/LSD settings and still win (providing you run RS)

I hate SS5 and the R35TC but after finishing 2nd on for 3 races in a row I had to give in and run it.

I was using the RKM Ford GT Test Car tune and my fastest laps were mid 1:20s and I still couldn't beat the Ford GT , I then went to the R35 and I was running low 1:19 without it being a clean lap!

Goodluck!
