RKM Motorsport - Tuned Tuners - May '13

Achyllis
Guess what I saw on the road the other day!! :D

They're already on the roads?! I may have to take a detour to my Toyota dealer this weekend. Good thing it's just down the road. :D

you mean scion dealer there digi and from what i heard in the states we are not seeing them till mid may early june

AYC is a very useful system if used properly, so I can only assume we've done just that as MFT aren't slouches when it comes to tuning. AYC basically forces the car to rotate, distributing power to the inside or outside wheels depending on conditions.

I'll note here what I noted at MFT too, there's one big difference in the cars - mine was tuned for Sports Softs, yours for Racing Hards and AYC works the better the more grip there is. The opposite can be said for a mechanical LSD... and in the end both cars got tested on Racing Softs judging by the lap times. :ouch:

So I just set a 1:00.193 on the new London time trial in my 491PP Impreza Sedan...anyone think they can beat it if I put the car on share? :sly: I'll admit it's probably not a good laptime, but whatever...

I did have my car tuned for sports soft originally, moving up to racing hard to make it comparable to the EvoX TC. I felt no need to change any settings between the tyres, probably because of the AYC like you said, so it still works on both sets of tyres. If both cars were to be re-tested on sports softs it would be completely fair. 👍

Oh! And the Green Dragon threw out a 10,360-ish first attempt at the drift trials...any takers? :D

I just used the C63 AMG tune for the Tsukuba drift trial, it's a really nice drift car. :P :D

I also used the M3 CSL tune for the Deep Forest TT, it's pretty good on sports hard tyres. 👍

0'59.040 with my own tune for the Impreza hatch. Check the sig for the car.

Yeah, true, Scion...but mine is the same place anyway. :D I'm gonna bug them anyway, maybe the Subaru guys too.

It's been a while since I've driven a Dragon car. I'm game :dopey: I'll take a look for it tonight. I need a break from that ^%$&^$% coconut car.

Turns out my first run in the GT86 got me 9k points. Not bad for having probably a third of the Viper's power.

If anyone had noticed me being the best on their friends list, you'd see the Verde Draco Corvette Z06 next to my monster score :D

If I wanted, my Shelby could destroy your score :D

It was the record holder between my friends with 20k+ in the Spa drift trial :D

Sorry to break the conversation chain but. Are you guys taking request?

Certainly! The good old one review = one request system in the OP still stands, so get reviewing :D which reminds me, I have Fiat's Jag and TVR to fiddle with...

I'll give it a go. 👍

I reckon my Impreza Sportwagon could eclipse that.... :D

Sorry, HDMI got hijacked! XD I'm considering just releasing the little red thing as a tune :D it's actually set up to work best with a massive 307bhp, stock with the sports exhaust

Hi all! I've just stumbled upon you guys today, and I honestly couldn't believe my eyes. The sheer amount of awesome tunes made me wonder why I haven't looked before.

No matter, I decided to start small with the above tune, also because I just love the Swift. 👍

However, when I came to do the transmission settings, I found that all mine had was gears 1-4 and final gear, whereas your setup was gears 1-5 and final gear. That completely confused me. What on Earth am I doing wrong? :ouch:

You're using the fully customisable transmission right? Strange that it comes up as a 4 speed. Both Swift's have 5-speed gearboxes.
