If I may say, one of my most favorite stand-ups he did was over in the UK describing how the game of golf was created. I would link it buuut it's against AUP
Love both of those, too. In that order. I'd watch Insomnia remake, but I loaned the DVD, never saw it back. One of my favorite actors and such a likable, great person.
Gonna have to watch Insomnia tomorrow, his acting is perfect and its a very good film overall. Also One Hour Photo.
I agree, even though he was smiling often you could see it in his eyes that he wasn't a truly happy man.I loved his older works. I always got impression that he had some sort of inner-struggle, maybe due to his non-stop, over the top mannerisms.
First of all, I'm sorry to hear that you suffer from depression. Like with Robin Williams, for me, it's hard to imagine someone who have so much going for could be unhappy. If you didn't go through it yourself, I supposed it is a difficult struggle to really comprehend. I hope you are doing OK, and that it's not too serious. We love you man! We want you to be better than well!I agree, even though he was smiling often you could see it in his eyes that he wasn't a truly happy man.
As someone who has been suffering from depressions for over a decade I know that happy over-the-top behavior is often used by those who are truly depressed, its some sort of attempt of self-therapy. Like forced smiling which makes you think of funny and happy things and instantly lifts your mood a bit.
It is just a cliché because supposedly when someone commits suicide his/her soul will not be in peace and there's no point saying RIP.People never RIP after they commit suicide.
