Robin Williams found dead at home

I honestly didn't see much of Williams' movies and career, but it's the fact that this man had such an impact on people's lives that it's truly tragic to see him go, especially this way.

R.I.P.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
For all the joy you have given me and countless others.
Though I didn't know you, I was deeply saddened to hear that you passed away.
I grew up watching your movies, over and over again.
A supremely gifted actor, that wasn't always given the respect you deserved
A comedic genius like no other!
And from the sound of the stories being shared these days, a genuinely nice person

Rest in Peace Robin Williams

Thank you

This one hurt. I knew Robin Williams as that one actor that brought a smile to everyone's face. The guy that you would imagine to give the best advice if you needed it. Someone who would always be there. Such a tragedy, RIP.

An mesmerising comedian and actor that should never be forgotten. It's a shame that behind the laughter came the drugs and the depression-it almost feels like John Belushi's death all over again (don't know why I keep coming to this conclusion :()
RIP

Condolences aside, what is this b:censored:?! What kind of heartless person would seriously make a thread like that up, regardless whether it was a joke or not?
Even more stupid is the fact that the thread is still open :grumpy:

Edit: I didn't realise that he was actually friends with Belushi until the night of his death :(
He never seemed to have full control of his fame, however. Williams talked of having become addicted to cocaine while he was appearing on "Mork & Mindy." By 1982, he was doing coke with John Belushi, whom he visited the night Belushi died of an overdose, according to testimony before the grand jury that investigated Belushi's death.
