And it ain't a rotary, but i'll throw her here for download anyways. ;)

BTW - a big thank you has to go to Oldtimer over at the GTF who kindly converted my replays to x-port format. Cheers ;)

Just got done playing at Midfield in a RX-7 LM on GT2

I ran a 1'04.341" with a stock RX-7 LM Edition 551 hp.
I know this isn't the fastest time but I tried... :D Need to work on
car set-up a bit. I just put soft tires on it and ran it.

I will be posting some new times with the 787b and the RX-7 for GT3 soon (I hope too).

Outta nowhere comes the buzz of a GT2 RX7 LM

I was actually doing a fair few laps with the 787B the other day. Had Flinx's awesome run loaded up and was having a real blast trying to match him. Managed to keep pace up till the second sector split on a few occasions, but he really has the last few turns down pat

I've also been fiddling with a new RX7 set up for Grand Valley, so i might have to load her up and see how it travels at midfield. Its just a matter of getting some time in between OLR events for some runs

Hi Rypien,
here´s another ghost to chase

:weird: Awesome time for a rotary at midfield mate  You are streaks ahead of the pack for this one.

Can't wait to fire up my new x-port tommorrow and download your replay.

awesome.

BTW - howd you find time to get in this great run, when you have been smashing the Racing Lines database to shreads ;)

i've not been in here for ages ! :embarrassed: :P

just came in to say ...
Great replay Flinx and a stunning set up  i only had to add a bit more rear df and i was all over your ghost  but your section at the last tunnel is flawless ;) kept me at bay :P

best so far after 1 hour with your set up ... and extreme care on mid section right hander

16.186/33.273=54.424

i'll put some more time in soon coz a 53 is only round the corner :P 😈 laters .

Great to see you back on the track MrP  And doing some fine times i see as well!

Got a few days of work, but i'll be hitting Midfield for some runs when time permits.

53 second club.....?

53 second club.....?

believe it man i've already been up on my t1 by .3 and t2 by .2 a 53 is coming 😈 i'll stay on this track until i get it :D but i bet flinx gets there 1st ;) again ! stunning set up flinx

i have already been there,
but a close review of my replay showed that i was a bit to far off track in the first corner :(

and then i lost my patience, the tunnel passage in the replay is by far my best last sector and it gets frustrating to blow away a lead of 0.2 or 0.3 seconds in the last sector over and over.

rypien, i did the time some weeks ago, short after my first entrance here but forgot to save it on the PC. :s

ok another improvement :P not much though :D

54.225

having a break for now my thumb is killin me :( :D 😈 laters

New time for me too Rypien ! a few laps on the wheel..........

55.068

My next attempt should get me in the 54's I'm sure :)

Beat you to it, Kelly :P

16.220 - 33.597 - 54.975 . Not bad for a new entry, eh!

thanks to Ron for the replay and Flinx for the setup.

here's my replay

Rotary flyers comming outta everywhere

Seems like just the other day that everyone was amazed that people were getting high 55's.

I'm heading to a mates place this arvo to show him some hybrids i've been making, and i hope to at least download some of the replays posted here tonight for viewing. Probably won't be able to hit the track for a day or so, but can't wait to do a bit of ghost chasing and giving Flinx's setting a go when time permits.

gotta luv the rotaries :D

hello everybody. its been awhile since i've visited this place, but its nice to see its rise in popularity. i'll try this track and submit what hopefully will be my first of many times later on tonight. that is of course if you guys don't mind me joining your event. the GT-C was one of my favourite cars in gt2, but i'll try that car later.

well here are my first set of times. mind you i haven't played gt3 in a few months, really busy with work, but here goes. RX-7 type RZ 675 hp 1:07.269 thats all i could manage. i only got in 15 laps, but tomorrow i'll have another go at it. good night. 😈

Had a great time finally watching daan's, Mr P's, and Flinx's new 54 second runs.

Very impressive entry into the '54 club' dann ;)

And you sure got outta shape on the sweeping left hander 'ripple ride' Mr P (sector 6 logger mode). Like riding a wild bull :P :D

Flinx, man you have got the last sector down to a fine art. Very smooth and tidy. I've yet to give your settings a go as i want to give my current ones some more track time (but i'll be having a squizz with mk's program soon ;) ).

With the help of some great ghosts to chase i've lowered my PB and am aiming for more if all goes well.

787B (full mods)

54.343 (16.360/32.959) :)

Not a bad second sector split, but failed to keep the momentum going into the last tunnel of love (oops ..... getting a bit carried away here :weird: )

And it looks as if 353 Hemi is sitting right in front of my old 83 model 12A powered RX7 . Nice going mate ;). Good to have another driver sitting behind the wheel of GT finest cars here at the magestic midfield circuit. cheers.

oops, almost forgot the attachment

 just saw this before so i decided to have a go
787b 984hp 55:377
Hybrid RX-7 LM race Car/(got no idea what engine/chassis combo)
engine redlines at 16,000rpm could possibly be a F1 engine really dont know (got the car of Prancing Horse so he may know :)
1690hp 56:526 first time driving this thing sounds insane at 15,500rpm

Welcome Bollocks ;)

Straight into the 55's with the 787B, and a big hp RX7 bodied beast to boot  :D

I've just been fiddling with some hybrids of my own. Have made a few simple conversions ie -

RX7 RZ with RX8 turbo engine
RX7 Lm car with big turbo 787B engine
etc.... etc..... etc......

As a matter of fact, most of my hybrid building to date involves 'rotary' engines :D .

Also managed to finally test out flinx's and Mr P's 787B settings and found them a fair bit different to mine. Got a fair few high 54.xxx's, but was unable to get my driving style to fit snugly into the car. Loaded up my old settings and will probably make a few adjustments in an effort to match the flying brit and german 😈

Made a slight improvement on my time today(787B full mods) and finally in the 54 club :) On the joypad this time though unfortunatley :(

54.866 Will post my replay and sectors ( really bad 1st sector 16.7 or something :embarrassed: ) soon, after I try and beat it 😈

Welcome to the 54 club lotus350

I've got my daughters 'naming ceremony' tommorrow, and have been trying to clean up the yard and house today before all the hordes of reletives invade the place :reallyodd . Might need to crack open a beer and have a few laps of midfield to unwind tonight

Allrighty had a skid in 2 road cars today the RX-7 types RZ & RS
I found that there is not a lot between them
...but that maybe just me (the RS did sound faster) but that wasnt the case did less laps in it to
RX-7 Type RZ 709hp 1:04.296
RX-7 Type RS 709hp 1:04.317
definatly room for improvment here with both cars more than able to get into the 1:03's (with my driving anyway) maybe quicker for some other racers out there ;)
