Thank you everyone. That was a tough race, probably the hardest enduro I have been a part of since London last year. We have learnt a lot of important lessons which we will take on to the next races.

Congratulations to the drivers, that was one hard slog with the changing conditions and generally tough track to get right lap after lap. Was absolutely brilliant! Great to be a part of.

Thank you AJ for putting on another great show!

And of course thanks to AJ's race officials and commentators, without you it wouldn't have been the same. This series has come a long way since London 12 hour, and that was only a matter of months ago!

I quite enjoyed watching the broadcast, overall it was pretty well done. Tom was a strong commentator in particular, very little dead air when he was on.

One bit of feedback I'd like to provide is on the "Live Timing". I know it's limited by stint pictures and whatnot but it is a little difficult to keep track of who is in what position when there are multiple hours between position updates.

If you can sort that out then there's not much else that needs improving really :)

That's hard to do PJ it all depends on when AJ receives the stint photos off teams and this depends on when the driver changes happen - it's rare that every team changes driver at the same time. So for example if a driver runs four hours on track AJ can't update that teams standings until the 5th hour of that driver/team of joining the track. AJ would need the photo as soon as it was taken for live timing to be kept up to date to the minute or hour - but that then that would interfere with the racing.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank again the organisers, stewards, commentators, AJ, and fellow racers and teams - D24 was magical to be a part of.

Even without stint pictures, having live times coming in to keep track of who is doing what kind of laptimes or even has a best lap of for the stint would be a super cool addition, however it means 1 more slot in the lobby being used, and I'm very happy with a livestream, stewards and more racers!
I guess it could be its own stream when commentary goes to bed and there is an extra lobby slot.

On behalf of Team Wise Racing (TWR) we wanna say thank you for everyone involved in this series, we were very excited about the race and most importantly we had so much fun.

To be honest and regardless of results we never expected to fight for the victory, our first goal was to finish the race without major problems and I think we accomplished that, we respected others and others respected us, for us that's very important and we are already looking forward to race again in the upcoming event.

As some teams have said, congratulations to all teams, finishing the race is already a great accomplishment, racing 24h isn't a easy thing and if we add rainy weather to that it can be even harder, all teams surpassed that so props to all teams, drivers, directors and commentators. I'm looking forward to watching the broadcast when I have time for it.

Thanks and see you all soon!

As owner of Swift Autosport I'd like to start by congratulating everyone on a very successful first race of the season.

I'd like to thank @AJ for creating such an amazing series. Even though we didn't make it to the show. I did watch the race. I was very impressed with how well the broadcast went.

Great racing by all the teams for sure. Can't wait for Bathurst to roll around,& have another shot at making a race in this amazing series.

On behalf of ABC Racing,

We would like to thank everyone who put this event together. We are a driver development team and like Pedro said from team TWR we were just looking to survive and finish with little mistakes and penalties.

Pending results, to come out with a class win is more than I exspected from my drivers. I guess a lot of team practice and communication with the drivers goes a long ways. Even when we had people crashing there were other teammates talking to them to calm them down. I am very PROUD of this team.

Congrats to all of the teams. For the most part, the racing was clean and the drivers were respectable. There were a couple of times that I got into someone or someone got into me but I don't think there was anyone intentionally getting into someone. That shows that we all have a good group of drivers.

Thanks again to everyone.

I know it's less of a priority right now, but it wase roomed that overnight a 2 hour podcast/interview was played. Will that be available separately in the future to listen to?

The whole broadcast is going up to youtube so you can probably find it there, commentary knocked off at 2am race time, so from about 12 hours into the race is when they played interviews, I'm sure someone else can narrow down the window for the specific interview, assuming it isn't provided otherwise.

Provisional Classification for D24 H24 is now available on the OP.

Note regarding #24 Escuderia GTMX

- The number 24 car entered the pits on its 809th lap for a splash and dash pit stop.
- The #24 pit box was situated before the s/f line.
- After completing the stop, the car crossed the s/f line in the pit lane at 23h59m52s281ms.
- 7.719 seconds later the Chequered Flag was shown.
- In accordance with the regulations, the Pit Exit was then closed.
- The #24 was still in the pit lane, and there their race ended there, and they were unable to complete the 24hrs.
- In accordance with the regulations the team has not been classified.

The team is naturally heart broken, and they have the sympathies of not only myself, but I expect everyone involved in the race, at every level.

- The results will remain provisional until the period for appeal has elapsed.

Oh that sucks. I need to read the rules in more detail. I didn't know this was possible. I am sorry GTMX

- UPDATE - #43 have had a lap added on to one of their stints, after a misjudgment of which side of the s/f line they were on when their stint pic was taken. This moves them up to 10th.

What is the purpose of this rule that disqualifies GTMX anyway?
This is my question as well. I don't see any good purpose for this rule. My sympathies to GTMX, you guys drove well all race and to have your successes ripped from you as such is terrible.

It's a rule that is around in "real" racing as well for some categories. A gutting result for the team for sure, but rules are rules and unfortunately for them - they were laid out far in advance of the race..
