On a technical level, I find the AWD cars and comfort tires in this game to be VERY challenging. The more you push, the slower you go. You need to get a sense, through force feedback and sound, and just plain practice, what the limit of the car is with these tires. If you exceed that limit, your cornering speeds go WAY down. The classic phrase "slow down to go fast" perfectly describes the mindset you need to have here in order to lay down a flier. It's all about not making any sudden jerky movements in the car, especially in the lower speed corners. If the front or back end breaks traction and you go off-line, you might as well restart the lap. Smooth, precise inputs will get you far. It's a completely opposite approach to Toscana, which is just balls to the wall fun in a nice sticky tire, high hp, low weight, high aero monster where you can walk the back end up the hills and be very fast. You can afford to be very agressive, and car control holds higher weight there then Eifel. Eifel is a test of precision and finesse. Two polar-opposite car and track combinations if you ask me. Good stuff. /rant :low sleep: :high caffeine to compensate:
