I would like to blame the fantastic choice of tires (although the 370z has such amazing handling and is so easy to control...:yuck:)

And the fact that I'm working all week and have to learn a whole new track in my little time at home! Although I'm currently 35th in the west with plenty of room to improve. I'm really hoping to see you guys in Orlando tho, I've never had the pleasure of being down in sunny Florida!

Yeah I'm having the same issues, it doesn't flow at all. The leaderboards are weird for the NE because your time shows up for Indy but not Eifel on the site. Wonder when they are going to fix that.

EDIT: Just saw your edit, that's why I haven't seen you on the list. Just keep cracking at it, eventually it starts to come together in pieces. I spent a bit of time cursing and then started to figure a couple things out, some sections are faster than you think, and others are much slower than they look. I'm sure come Sunday we will see you down in the 2:18's. If we both figure out this bloody track and make it to Orlando I'll buy the first round haha.

If I can get to Orlando, I would imagine there will be many rounds to be had. LOL

I think its safe to say that the 370z can be pushed harder than I think, I had a hard time in this car on Cape too. I feel like the car is at its limits through a corner but I am thinking the car can go faster because I am 2 seconds back.

In all seriousness I think it has to do with some people (myself) not being able to understand what the car is doing beneath them in a game. Some of you guys know what the car is doing in the game naturally, just from your gaming experience etc. I feel like the car is being pushed to its limit through a corner then find out its I am only pushing 6/10's of what the car can do, but the sights and sound from the game tell me I am at 9/10's. I really need to spend more time just driving in this game, because I seriously feel like that's what is hurting me, not understanding what the car is doing beneath me. :(

Perfect explanation.

My excuse: I played this game much less than everyone else. Played a week or two when it came out. My A-spec level (19)is well below anyone I've looked at on the leaderboards.

Without a replay im usless. Im a competitve racer not a TT'er. i need something to chase and barrel down on.

Just cant get past 2:20 because I have no idea where to go lol

How's this...

MY GAS PEADAL'S BROKEN!!!!!!!!!:grumpy:

My wife just happened to be looking over my sholder and once I paused to restart, she asked "Whats that twitchy white line mean?"

After closer examination, the "twitchy white line" is my throttle input indicator and it's indicating some cracked-out craziness when I have my foot to the floor. It's "flickering" between 3/4 and full throttle. Sometimes a little lower.

Don't know how long it's been jacked up....

That happened to me in round one.

Z1 what pedals do you have? I had something similar happen to my g27 brake pedal but only at zero input. Take the pedal assy. apart and look at the wires connected to the pot. It sounds like one might be coming loose.

Thanks. I already opened it up.:)

The connections seemed ok so I hit the pot with some MAF cleaner and tested it. (can't find my contact cleaner at the moment)

It's ok (for) now.

The driver is another story. I'm spent.

I'll die from a blown blood vessel in my head because my dfgt (approaching 2.5 years old) keeps pushing the PS button, view switch, and/or start buttons for me in the middle of a perfect lap at eifel.

Here's a legitimate excuse: I'm not going to be fast enough.

Got all excited after being in 2nd place in the West last night, to checking the standings just now to see I dropped to 6th! Unless I can pick up 2-3 tenths at Indy, I think that's all she wrote for me.

Oh the drama! Turbo you can make it into round 3, i even know that. I might not like you as a drama major but you can drive. You're mind is just messing with you right now. Take a day or two off and get back to it with a refreshed mind.

It's not just that, there are probably a few people *cough*timeattack*cough* that haven't shown themselves yet on the overall leader board. I'd love to take a day or two off, problem is my weekend is jam packed so all my time has to be spent in the next couple days after work. I may be fast, but like they say there's always someone faster. ;)

I've decided I'm not going to stress about it anymore. I've made it farther along that I thought I would so there's no reason to go away disappointed now. 👍

I'm right there with you buddy. I'm currently back in 19th when last I played I was knocking on the door of the top ten! Hang in there and I'll see ya in Orlando!

Surprised I dropped that many spots over night being so high up on the list. I guess everyone else doesn't sleep.

It's been two days since posting my 3:59.3 and it's still not good enough. All I have to show for it is clawing for hundredths as if I'm maxed out. 2:18.4xx and 1:40.8xx, 14th in the west currently. I've been driving nearly nonstop and it's starting to look hopeless.

My final excuse: I'm simply not a fast enough sim racer. Maybe I will stick to real driving and climb the racing ranks the normal way as I always have...
