To be honest, I have up. Just like with Calc. I hit my limit and could not go any further. Also I just did not have the time.

Really, Time+Dedication=Victory

Couldn't come to grips with Godzilla in the Parisian countryside. Lost big time in sectors two and three to the top guys.

...and back to the classroom Joey went:idea:

Eifel mountains are in Germany... :odd:

Some of us who got knocked out should get a busted up nissan and run it in GT-Academy livery at the 24 hours of LeMons. Would be classic funny.

No joke, I am totally down to do this, I have wanted to do 24 hours of lemons for years. We can order the windshield decal off ebay even. I would think an old school 300zx, a really old 200sx, or maybe an s13.

If there's a chance of this actually happening, then count me in as well. It would be absolutely hilarious!

I don't see Vegas on the event list. Should be awesome if it's here in my hometown.

I'd definitely be down to chip in on this if we can get something together. Keep us posted 👍

Its in Reno, look at the date info on the entry form. Close enough to Vegas ;)

How about finding out how you stack up against over 400 other GTP members by running the GTP Qualifier?

Would be interesting to see how it pans out. 👍

I would love to do some GTP stuff but I am not changing to a GTP tag thats why I never do them. I have way too many friends from several other games that I talk to every time I go online with my current PSN, I wouldn't want to spend any time ranking up another name, or spend my nights logged in to another name. It sucks that you have to have a GTP tag to participate.

When does the qualifier open up again?

Very shortly. You can start running the qualifier as soon as you like and submit your run once it reopens.

Edit:

Fair enough. After all, this is an excuses thread. ;)

Awesome! Running with a GTP tag gains me some respect in certain circles, but definitely not the reason I took it on :D

I entered us, just to see if we can get in, if we do, get ready for Vegas.

dude... May 14th is a bit close and my wife's birthday.
If you guys are really serious I'm in; I've wanted to do LeMons for years and this actually sounds like a fun way to stick a jab into the ribs of GT-Academy and I know the jalops will get a giggle out of it.

Here's the event list: http://www.24hoursoflemons.com/events.aspx

Going to take some planning and discussion before just jumping in one.
Like where to build the car etc... Locations of team members vs tracks vs car build, who's a good mechanic (i'm not afraid of wrenches and all-night labor, am good mechanically and can follow direction, but I have **** for know-how and experience), and most importantly what's the most fun track. Not something we should really jump into half-cocked.

With 4 or 5 drivers though the financial burden should be minimal and the fun maximal. 👍

I could be up for getting in on this as well.
