Is Z going to be next, fine symbol that gets ruined because a bunch fascists decide to use it as a symbol of their fascism
Perhaps what happened is that Putin lost a game of Scrabble on the retained tiles rule, so he made Q a hate symbol in the USA through his patsy Donald, and now he's doing the same with Z.

If J or X follows, it'll prove it.

Thank you.. Long good read :) .. but..

Terrible news... Really bad situation for
The Invaders.. same thing as.. Wait for it... the Falklands 1982 !

Argentinan officers where the first ones fleeing the battlefield. Took last flight home. Leaving the young recruits alone in their outposts, starving and later captured. Severe punishments before that. Why? For stealing food from civilians in occupied territory.
All this and more from a book, I've read recently.

The big convoy heading to Kiev, still stuck? Why ? Four days, now..

Can we see the Endgame here ?

[ Latest: BBC.. NO card payments possible in NATO member,Belarus, too ! ]
Belarus is not and was never a NATO member.

It would be funny if they cut Russia off the internet and it turns out Facebook has no real accounts.

What's really messed up is the US is just now considering stopping Russian Oil imports. But in order to do so has to un-do sanctions on Iran and Venezuela.

We need to reduce oil dependance because we end up depending on the worst people.

Right you are, Blitz24 ! Thank you.
Reading to fast on g00gle..
NATO Partner =/= NATO Member

You'll notice that Russia, a rather famous not-member of NATO, is also on that partner list.

Belarus isn't even in the Council of Europe; it's the only European country to continue with the death penalty.

Nothing special, its obvious after 11 days of struggle.
What is obvious? There's a lot of side of the situation described in this text. What's is damning is the level of incompetence reached by this regime, where giving positive news to the great leader is what matters the most.

Its obvious if you have eyes and access to social media. Intelligence was nonexistent in preparation to this mess. You could see thousands of posts that war isnt an option from everyone in Russia including me. Why? Because, it doesn't make sense to start operation that is doomed from the beginning. Yet, we have what we have, because higher ranks don't get any legit info.

Even without consolidated West this war was doomed to suck our resources and finish Putins regime.

Russia have published a list of countries they claim have made unfriendly actions against them. (I mean I hope so, this tweet is the only evidence I have of it).

The most notable thing about this is that they have written "Taiwan", thus recognising it as a separate country to China, something that will inevitably annoy WinnXi the Pooh in charge of China, which of course does everything they can to enforce the One China policy, and cuts ties with anyone who calls Taiwan a country. China's support is probably the only thing left for Russia that could help it out in this messy situation, and something as simple as calling Taiwan an aggressor could sever the already frayed ties even more...

Edit: this is apparently the document, but as I can't read Russian I'm relying wholly on others to translate it.

Monaco I guess seized some property from Russia. No idea what San Marino did. I was not aware the EU is now a country. Lastly, Ukraine committed "unfriendly" actions towards Russia by defending themselves. How dare they!

Document also says "Taiwan (China)" so they did indeed refer to it as Chinese.

Perhaps the stage is being set for Russia, in turn, to take reciprocal actions or sanctions against one or more of these nations? These sanctions might initially consist of shutting them off from oil, gas, coal, various metals and minerals, fertilizers, wheat, corn, etc. I would also envisage cyber attacks/sabotage against power grids, industrial activities, satellites, etc.

No idea what San Marino did
No idea either, despite looking, and San Marino has had solid relations with Russia of late, no sanctions, reduced visa requirements, buying Covid vaccines from Russia, etc.

San Marino is probably there as a "friends of the EU" nation; not officially an EU member but uses the money and has obviously close ties with Italy.

EEA members Switzerland and Norway, neither in the EU, are also on that list. Montenegro is also not an EU member but uses the Euro anyway. It's just spite by association.

In other words, more saber-rattling by Putin. In order to save face, he wants to bait everyone to attack him to boost morale.

I thought the mentioning of Russia dropping the ISS potentially on China was a bit gutsy, but every world leader knows how China feels about Taiwan being recognized on its own.

I don't think China will change their current operation, though. Xi has called on Putin a couple times to deescalate. There was a story 3 Chinese citizens may have been killed in Ukraine by Russia artillery, but contradicting reports claim China said the 3 are home safe. I don't think there's much Russia can do to convince China to come to their aid (in some form) that doesn't involve a deal that puts Russia in a massive debt to China. Putin has too much "pride", & China still really, really likes doing business with everyone else.

Maybe it's saber rattling, that's what the nuclear threat is all about, I assume. But if Russia levies real hard-hitting "sanctions" of its own against the actors that are sanctioning their regime, then it devolves into dangerous, escalatory and highly provocative acts of revenge. Perhaps it is a death spiral, a new Cold War or some other bad patch that we could have done without, if only.

San Marino is now trending on Twitter as everyone finds it hilarious that such a tiny country has been singled out as doing enough to annoy the largest country on Earth.

It's not a laughing matter when the nation saying this has weapons that could wipe said country out in one go, but also it's really hilarious.
