I can't recall that post, sorry. But my point is that NATO is a defense treaty, it's only objective is to defend it's member states.
I was born and raised in a NATO member country but emigrated to a non NATO country. So if the country I live in is attacked by Putin NATO is not obligated to come to our defense.
How ever. As the need for humanitarian help rises in Ukraine I can see the need to protect these humanitarian efforts. That might bring foreign military on Ukranian soil.

I came across an interesting stat that shows just how impossible it will be for Russia to hold Ukraine even if it wins the war,
One of the highest ratios of troops to populations recorded for a counter insurgency action was the British Army in Northern Ireland, that peaked at a ration of 2:100, so 2 soldiers for every 100 heads of population. A ratio that still resulted in failure to contain violence.
Ukraine has a population of 44 million people, which would require a force of 880k troops, which I believe is about 80% of the entire Russian Army!

Currently, these Azov guys are surrounded in Mariupol and now are obstructing the evacuation of civilians through the green corridors arranged by Russia. No wonder why - once the civilians are out of the city, they'll lose their human shield to hide behind so the Z-force can strike all-out on them.
Uhm... Do you think Putin started all of this to exterminate millions of Ukrainians for... for what? Just for fun?

How many members does the Azov battalion have? 300? You start a war against a country of 44 millions because 0.0007% of them are nazis? That’s a pathetic excuse.
RNU probably sent more nazis to fight for the Russians in Donbas.
We’re already on it (EU). Russia sent four fighter jets from Kaliningrad into our airspace as well, as a form of protest (or maybe to try to provoke something?)

Azov are scum and quite rightly should have no part in a civilised society, however to then use that as a reason to invade a sovereign country isn't justified. After all it's not as if Putin and his ideology doesn't appeal just as much to neo-nazi's.
He started it to try and achieve his long held and oft repeated aim of recreating a greater Russian and getting back to USSR levels of reach and control.
