Gotta love the Western governments. Supporting far right Neos (Azov to name just one) and at the same time calling Putin a fascist. All of us paying for the West's war through our taxes. Meanwhile, Zelensky keeps on calling for more arms, more dough and more 'support' in general.

And your government sign Budapest memorandum which states that your government would protect Ukraine if someone would threat it with nuclear weapon(thats why Ukraine doesn't have nukes to protect itself from RF aggression).
Smartest thing you can do is shut up and provide as many equipment to ЗСУ as you can, because this only thing that can stop RF from spreading chaos around the world without starting nuclear war.
May I remind you, that Ukraine is biggest country in Europe. One of the biggest suppliers of food for Middle East and Africa. You on the brink of biggest food crisis in current century which would lead to biggest immigration crisis in Europe.

If it wasn't for the sacrifice of millions upon millions of Russians in WW2, the Nazis would have obliterated everything. Interesting how the Western governments forget this and have the cheek to call Putin a fascist. The U.S. and Europe is built on the arms trade with all those good guys at Lockheed Martin etc.

Grow up and realise that funding another government's defenses is MUCH cheaper than openingly declaring war and being the victim of a nuclear strike - because THAT is the real risk that everyone in NATO faces if Russia gets too big for its boots.

It doesn't deny my original point. As far as I know, Stalingrad was in what is today western Russia. However, the history of western Ukraine is a little more.....um, shall we say, confusing.

The West says Russia has made to use nuclear weapons in Ukraine, but what has President Vladimir Putin actually said on the possible use of nuclear weapons?

All Russia cares about is showing that it is still a world power who should not be messed with. While Putin throws about the nukes argument, nobody wants to actively engage. You must remember that the USSR detonated the largest Nuclear Blast of all time with the Tsar Bomba, which was strong enough that it could flatten the entirety of Greater London. MAD is only a threat when both sides don't want to risk being struck, but nobody wants to call Putin's bluff because this war feels more like a final action of a dying regime than proper colonialism and expansion.
Funding Ukraine is the only real option for avoiding making this WW3.
You keep telling us that Ukraine isn't the best? And what? Is Putin a better alternative? You won't find 100% of people on any side are to your liking. Have you watched Star Wars? The Rebellion isn't exactly an innocent group of people either, but they band together to fight an immense and repressive force. This is the same kind of thing.
Just be thankful that in terms of failing government you have incompetence, rather than malice and fascism as Russia is stuck with. Everyone can see through the Propaganda of the British Government, while Russia seems to be damn stuck with the censorship and brainwashing coming out of that government.

Meanwhile in 2022 the cost of Brexit has been 4% of GDP, 32Bn£ - the fee you payed, 13.2bn£.
The money spent on supporting Ukraine is about 15% of what Brexit has cost this year. If you are worried about your tax money there are other stuff to concentrate on as well ..

Azov is not a Nazi battalion, although its roots can certainly be traced back to neo-nazism. The western support is not directed at Azov, but at Ukraine, and Ukraine are not Nazis. Ukraine is defending themselves against an unprovoked invasion by Russia - an invasion that appears to be motivated by a desire to restore the glorious Russian empire and to defeat western liberal values. In light of this, why do you believe it’s wrong to label Putin a fascist?
How did your tax rate chance since the invasion? On my end it hasn’t changed a bit. Chances are that if you live in a NATO country you already spend enough on the military that you can afford to send support to Ukraine without having to increase spendings.
I don't disagree with you on that one. As you said, plenty to concentrate on.
