It's quite likely that not every Russian nuke would be aimed at the USA. I doubt Europe would fare too well.
They'd stick two on North Yorkshire for starters. That's pretty much because that's where the USA keeps its early warning radars for inbound Russian nukes - Menwith Hill and Fylingdales.

Thanks for that, by the way, America.

Army reserves have some wild things(even considering surplus sales of this). Biggest problem should be ammo - unlike Mosin rifles its firing dated ammunition. AFAIK, both sides has problems with lack of PDW class weaponry for pilots and armor crews. AK74U isn't most produced AK variant, as well as APS(which shooting crap ammo). Smartest thing will be to take all AK74U from police and give them something like Vitiaz.

As for Maxim - I don't think there was any chances that it would be used. On the other hand, MG is MG. Better have one, than not have one.
I wouldnt mind one of these...

This is surely the biggest concern. The US is pretty well safe from Russian ICBMs with our missile net on sea, air, and land with plenty of time to scramble but Europe only gets a few minutes. Hopefully the SAM network would hold out long enough to get dozens of European jets in the air.

I've seen anecdotal evidence that, in addition to the circa 1950s AKMs, some Russian soldiers and a bunch of Ukranians have been spotted with PPSH-41s, which date to WW2. This interests me considerably as a Tokarev enthusiast (I own 2x CZ52s).
Rather have a Papasha than of those than the AK-47s that looked like they got pulled out of the bottom of a harbor.

I'm in North Wilts, ditto for us. Porton Down, Fairford, Brize Norton, and GCHQ see to that.

I’d reckon with the payload size and amount dropped on the UK we’d be messed up beyond recognition, I don’t think there is anywhere really safe.

Maybe the outer reachers of the Scottish isles, but then they may need to contend with wind / weather bringing things their way too. I got to a point where if things did go that way, I don’t think I’d really want to be around for the after party anywhoo.

The Netherlands will finally deliver on their promises and buy 91 T-72's from the Czech Republic and deliver rhem ASAP to Ukraine.

Season 2, Kazan. Mobilized asked where are their food, fresh water and firewood. Also threating officers with violence.

They can yell all they want (although calling the dude faggot isnt really doing them any favors), but they still showed up for mobilization. Unless there is some widespread protests from majority of population and people refuse to show up, Putin will keep doing whatever and a bunch more people will die.

This is a bit of a "guy behind the keyboard" take.
What I mean is that submission and going with the flow is kind of ingrained in Russian mentality, so unless that changes somehow, government will keep doing whatever. Unless mobilization becomes even more widespread things will stay the same unfortunately and people will bitch and curse, but nobody is going to organize large protests. With the protests being outlawed and misinformation so widespread, I don't even know exactly how many dead conscripts it'd take to get people to rebel.

Alexander Nikulin, the puppet judge who sentenced Brits to death in Ukraine 'in serious condition' in hospital after an assassination attempt.

Arestovich:
  • Mobilized 238k. Half in vanilla Russia, half in temporary occupied territories including Belarus. Even half is too much for supply.
  • something strange with starlink. There is chances, that Ukraine had unauthorized access and it was shut. Money isn't problem
  • Russian specops isn't working as intended which is main reason why 0 HIMARS were hit.

Up to 60% of the Russian losses in Mariupol may have been caused by friendly fire, due to incompetent Russian artillery.

-"Russian occupiers destroyed the mural of "Milana" in Mariupol. This mural was opened for the International Day of Peace in September 2018. It depicts the then 6-year-old Milana, who lost her mother and was left without a leg as a result of the shelling of the city in 2015.
This was reported by the Mariupol City Council.

The "reason" for the destruction was the "need to insulate the building."
In the winter of 2015, during the shelling of the Vostochny microdistrict of Mariupol, Milana's mother died - she covered her daughter with herself.
"The mural was a symbol of the tragedy of the war and the hope for peace and restoration ," says the city council."

Hard to tell, but that looks like some sort of applied EPS panel. If that's the case*, Ukraine can easily(ish) restore the mural when they take back Mariupol.

*Also, if that's the case, it's the cheapest-ass way to insulate a building which seems par for the course for RF. Almost as if they are planning to abandon the building in 4-6 months...

According to Newsweek citing the Ukraine, Russia lost 700 soldiers in 1 day w/ a significant number in the Donetsk region & the "greatest losses" near Avdiivka & Bakhmut.

How it started (October 6th, 2022):
How it's going (November 9th, 2022):

The only question I have is: how did they get his car up 8 flights of stairs??
