Could you please give me some context please. Who is "Ded" and how did they **** their pants on a forum?

BBC News were showing live footage of Putin at the Valdai 'Discussion Club' / forum, but interestingly carried no sound, even though Putin was speaking in Russian. It reminded me of when the BBC somewhat ludicrously banned the sound of IRA/Sinn Fein spokesmen in the 1980's, but narrated what they were saying using an actor (yes, really...), a completely daft idea in the hope that the tone of how they were speaking would be stripped away and lessen the impact of their words. Ironically, this was later comically lampooned by the BBC comedy series, The Day Today:

Putin does seem like a stuck record when it comes to his rambling rants against the "so-called West" and he perpetually looks like his souffle just collapsed.

Interestingly, however, either he or his translator may have goofed as he apparently criticised Western backing for "the war in Ukraine", which if confirmed would be an interesting slip of the tongue.

In today's warning from page 672 of Russia's Big Book for Totally Serious Warnings:

Ya, I can target them too. Hitting them is another story.

Also, why would you attempt to shoot down Starlink satellites? There are so many of them that it would be incredibly resource-intensive to blow them out of the sky, especially given the inability of Russia to hit meaningful targets.
Starlink satellites travel at around 7.5km/s (that's Mach 22) with respect to the earth - they are not geostationary. Good luck hitting one. Also, there are more than 2,000 of them. Somebody better be really good at space invaders.

Kindergarten in Murmansk, RF. Someone in military uniform showing kids how to dismantle AK74. Main question is why kids and teachers wearing Ukraine flag.

I can't see anything wrong with destabilisation of Russian government. Current oppressive regime cant transform into something democratic without major destabilisation. Its already failed state with lost monopoly on violence and bunch of non constitutional laws.
Sure, and it may ultimately be for the best for Russia and the Russian people. But major regime transitions tend to be a complete nightmare for the common people for years or decades afterwards.

From my limited knowledge there are some parallels to the situation before the 1917 Russian Revolution - an unpopular and authoritarian leader, an unpopular war, and major economic difficulties. There was civil war for years and millions of people died before a "stable" leadership consolidated - subsequent issues with Stalin and the USSR notwithstanding. Overthrowing a repressive regime is a great idea on paper, but sometimes the cure can be worse than the disease.

funny thing. This is weather for upcoming weekend in poland.

Slovakia is just about holding on to 20° weekends.
Germany is going up to 24° C today - climate change coming in clutch.

Temperatures will be returning to normal levels within a few days though.

1.000.000 dead from Corona(x2 from USA, x4 from Germany), 10.000s already dead or injured and right now they soaking every man they can from 18 to 55 to use them as cannonfodder(some sources suggesting 500.000 already). I am even not talking about casualties of Ukraine from Putin actions.

Also, keep in mind that we are not in 1917.

Right, people are dying either way. But I'm pointing out that there may be downsides to destabilising the government, because you said you see nothing wrong with it.

I'm well aware. But I thought an example that features the Russian people and takes into account their specific culture and history might be more relevant than any of the other more modern examples of major regime change.

If you want modern examples that don't feature Russia there's lots of them. How's Iraq doing these days? Still not great, I hear.

Do you understand that only <40% of Russian Empire population could read? Today its level of poorest countries in Africa. Current Russia of the most educated countries in the world. Average age in RE was 21, in RF its 40. Average RE citizen leaved in rural village, average RF citizen living in big city.

Not an expert, but GDP is growing since invasion, as well as population.

If you want examples - closest example will be Ukraine in 2014.

Looks like Lapin is fired. Also, this morning Sevastopol was attacked with UV, damage is unclear. RF suggesting UK specops.

Insane footage

It is a matter of time before the Ukrainian sky will be closed for Orc aircraft.

The French Navy managed to intercept a supersonic target simulation with that missile system while it was traveling over 3,000kph. Colour me impressed.
