Does Ukraine even have such a weapon for Russian to claim such blasphemy? I thought one of the larger talking points when nukes were first discussed is how Ukraine denuclearized.
Dirty bomb is something that spread radiation + explosives.

WTH are the Russians trying to do charging a tank head on like that??? It looks like the lucky ones didn't get very far once AFU/ZSU infantry made contact with them.

Its not stupidity, almost same situation happen before with Ukrainian troops. Both sides using retrofitted Soviet vehicles and in chaos of battle soliders could easily misunderstood what in front of them. On the other hand, this situation would be impossible if RUAF had few lines of defense instead of current one in Kherson.

Chaos

Speaking of chaos...this is nuts. Hard to ascertain the veracity, but I don't think I've ever seen first person footage of a SAM shootdown. Pilot escapes apparently unharmed...barely.

Are fields in this part of the world still this green this time of year? It doesn't really look like fall to me.

The video is mirrored. The signs inside the cockpit are backwards.

You can see the tail fin cut off by the power lines. Engine flames probably due to stalling.

Report says it was a training flight.

Did you do all this detective work in the 1-hr between our posts? lol

One thing I'm wondering about is the mood in Turkey RE the Crimean Tatars. Any perspective @SestoScudo ? Erdogan has come out surprisingly forecefully against Russia and I'd guess that the ethnic Tatars in Crimea has a lot to do with it.

(I have a working fringe/lunatic theory that Turkey actually blew up the Kerch bridge - I don't think a better time to retake Crimea for Turkey will come again with Russia & Ukraine fighting each other. Hell maybe Turkey blew up the pipeline too. Again, totally unsubstantiated lunatic style raving here)

If Turkey feels they can essentially do anything without a response, then maybe it works (Russia isn't going to attack them and I'm not sure Article V will cover anything offensive).

Most Crimean Tatars in Turkey support Ukraine rather than Russia have been more active in Turkey in trying to make the government take a hard stance even restricting Russians going into Turkey. Some Crimean Tatars from Turkey have also gone to Ukraine to fight as volunteers but the numbers are unknown. Crimean Tatars are full on hostile to Russia thats why many Turks have looked at interest in the Ukraine war because Crimean Tatars are seen as blood brothers.

Erdogan is not in fully making Russia an enemy even if Turkish and Russian interests are clashing in many areas while at the same time cooperating with them. Turkey is trying to maintain relations with both but in this War they are 100% supporting Ukraine with drones even Mraps while not making it public.

Turkish government is not having a harsh tone against Russia because they have odds with the West.

Another factor is that Erdogans cabinets has lots of pro Russian dudes while the his other cabinet is split with Pro Nato.

Turkish politics has also been dominated with two camps which is Pro Nato and Pro Eurasia. Pro Nato are pro Western while Pro Eurasian are mainly pro Russia and Pro China they seem to be more interested in having relations with the East than the West. While the other small camp is occupied by Pan Turkists or Pan Turanists who believe in a Turkic union.

Erdogan is also allies with Dogu Perincek who is one of the nost pro Russian politician in Turkey who even supports Russia in everything when Russia bombed 33 Turkish soldiers in Syria he was actually quiet even blamed the West for it.

By this point Turkey is just trying to balance both sides. I do think Turkey should do more against Russia. I doubt it because Russian tourists are very valuable if that gets cut off many of Erdogan's voters will riot the economy is going crap any action Erdogan takes that hurts the economy the more chance he wont get voted again he knows it anyway.

Before the War, Turkey and Ukraine have made numerous agreements in economy and military. Now the war ruined many of that.

I do hope Turkey joins in the rebuilding of Ukraine after this war ends

Some outlets are reporting that the Ukrainians found and bombed a building full of tiktok warriors. 40+ dead and a lot of wounded.

I'm going to re-ask the question I have now asked around three times, and you have ignored it a similar amount of times.

What percentage of the military in Ukraine and parliament is far-right, and what level is acceptable before assistance is withheld?

I've also asked if your own country is immune to these issues, now that is an rhetorical question, as a member of staff I know exactly where you are posting from (and it's certainly not Antarctica). One with a far-right nationalist party holding 5% of parliamentary seats (obtained with a 12% following in a recent election), a country with a history within living memory (mine) of extreme right-wing and Nationalist problems that have not been eradicated both within and outside the military). In fact, it's at a similar level and poses a similar threat to that posed within Ukraine (nor does any of this come close to indicating where you live, given that it could apply to most of the western world)...

...should assistance be withheld if the situation was that your country was invaded?

Now I fully expect that you will once again not bother answering, despite the above being a 100% ad-hominem-free, factually supported rebuttal (actually that might be exactly why you ignore it), what I do however expect you to do is start engaging in good-faith discussions.
Kind of amusing that you need factcheckers to do what should be your job, thinking for yourself based on the information available to you.

Anyway they had as a matter of fact a Far-Right PM in 2019
Quoting wikipedia:

"Oleksiy Valeriyovych Honcharuk (Ukrainian: Олексі́й Вале́рійович Гончару́к, pronounced [olekˈs⁽ʲ⁾ij wɐˈlɛr⁽ʲ⁾ijowɪtʃ ɦontʃɐˈruk]; born 7 July 1984) is a Ukrainian politician. He served as the Prime Minister of Ukraine from 29 August 2019 to 4 March 2020[1] following a landslide parliamentary election win. Honcharuk was replaced by Denys Shmyhal during the formation of the Shmyhal Government.[2]"

Controversy[edit]

On 17 October 2019, Honcharuk (alongside minister Oksana Koliada, who would upload the pictures to her Facebook page) attended a concert headlined by the openly neo-Nazi and Holocaust denialist band Sokyra Peruna. The event, at which he spoke on stage, was arranged by notorious far-right figure Andriy Medvedko, who chairs an organisation for veterans of the War in Donbas linked to the S14 group and is a suspect in the murder of journalist Oles Buzina.[58][59][60] Honcharuk addressed his critics by accusing them of inappropriately politicising the situation by highlighting the Neo-Nazi character of the band, declaring that "it is not up to the government to dictate what its defenders should sing", and further justified his presence at the event by claiming there were "many bands" at the concert (there were a total of three). He denied being a fan of Sokyra Peruna and stated that he had attended the event following an invitation from a veterans' group.[6

And to corroborate wikipedia:

ah, nothing shows more that your country doesn't support the Far Right than electing such a man for PM with a majority of votes too! or its President walking around with bodyguards parading Nazi patches on their backs!

Rather a bold statement to make given the rather significant issues with the following.

Those being that you seem to be ignoring three rather important facts

1. That he was forced out of office for his far right views
2. After a stunningly long term in office of five months
3. It's now 2022, and Russia invaded a country that has resoundingly voted out the far-right.

Now, how about you actually answer the questions I've asked, rather than replying to the ones I didn't?

I look forward to Russia invading Italy, who just elected a far right Prime Minister last week. One who I suspect won't be gone by Easter.

Where do you see that he is far-right? Judging by his political positions he seems to be a liberal.
