Couldn't you face problems, being Russian and calling Vladimir "Nobody"?
We have no restrictions on freedom of speech. Including any Ukrainian can go to the square to express their opinion. What is impossible even to imagine in Ukraine.
The reasons for the military operation are the threats from NATO and the killings of civilians in the Donbas by Ukraine. Study the question. Find out why Ukraine did not comply with the Minsk agreements. All parties complied, but Ukraine did not.
You make monsters out of us, and you read and watch information only from one side. Have you thought about it, maybe they are lying to you?

Utter nonsense….

^Not gonna lie, it took a lot longer than I expected for some ultra Pro-Russia nonsense to enter the thread.

Also, @inCloud, a translation of the video you posted would be quite welcome.

Be interested to learn what the people who think Russian soldiers should all be killed think about anti-Putin voices being arrested and sent to Ukraine to fight.

And also the platoon that surrendered to Ukrainian forces because it didn't know it was being sent to Ukraine to fight Ukranians.

And also reports that 5,000 Russian soldiers have rioted against their commanders.

When you live in a totalitarian dictatorship, you do what you are told or - at best - die. More commonly it's not just you that dies, but members of your family too. It's rule by fear.

The guy who kills you lives in the same fear. The guy who orders him to kill you lives in the same fear. The guy he reports to lives in the same fear. The guy above him lives in the same fear, and so on until you reach the inner circle of the guy in charge and his toadying lackeys - who can't see any further than replacing the guy at the top when he dies (or is killed) and perpetuating the rule of fear. Which is why the guy in charge is usually highly paranoid.

Russian grunts are, for the most part, as much victims as the people they're sent to kill - and quite clearly a lot of them don't want to do it or are not told who they're killing or why, only that they want to kill them back first. Their commanders are more complicit, but really you want to be looking far from the front lines for the people with the biggest hats and most medalled chests.

The hope is that someone near Putin realises that their family dying by Putin is no worse than everyone they love being obliterated by the retaliatory nuclear strike, and stops him from launching first. With a bullet.

the threats from NATO
Lol. NATO's done sod all, anywhere, for years. Russia's now woken it up so hard that even anti-war Germany is increasing military funding by 400%.
maybe they are lying to you?
Oh the irony.

Open your eyes……..
open yours))

NATO's done sod all, anywhere, for years.
It's true

It's true
The USA isn't NATO. In fact under your puppet, the USA tried to withdraw from NATO. Pathetic attempt.

Oh good, now we've reached the intellectual heights of "no u".

While we appreciate you have to post this nonsense, nobody here is buying it, so don't bother. Best bet is to go somewhere more gullible.

Incidentally, it's not possible to use nuclear weapons defensively. They don't explode enemy missiles out of the sky in a bright friendly flash. They are massively offensive weapons, intended to wipe out human life and infrastructure.

Their only defensive purpose is to assure that the people launching their nukes at you get just as many back, so they don't - and both the USA and Russia's arsenals are always ready to do that. Heightening their preparedness only has one implication: they are being readied for launch first.

What threats, specifically?

You make monsters out of us,
I think most people are not trying to make monsters of the Russian people, only those that supporting invading a sovereign nation. Unless, of course, when you say 'us', you include yourself in those that support invasion.

People who think the US is a shining beacon of peace and morality are sorely mistaken. We have gone to great length to ensure that we maintain a neatly packaged and agreeable sphere of influence. But at least there was an actual mission with all that fighting before the 90s which was fighting against the rise of Soviet-aligned political movements. Anyways...

Yup and I stand by it. You are very much in the same category as the guy in your avatar.

I very much want Russia to be defeated. Where we differ is I want minimal casualties while you want Russian blood to flow through the streets just like Putin wants Ukrainian blood to flow through the streets. You two are waaaaay more similar than you like to think.

Anyways, I'm done dealing with you, enjoy your life, may it be healthy and long!
Lol. ok mad lad.
I am pretty horrible, i would take warmth from hearing about a car thief crashing and dying yes.
I would take warmth from any criminal dying in the moment of committing a crime.
No guilt about that at all.

But I think to compare a person you have never met as being as bad as Putin is a stretch.

How you heard the rhetoric from the Ukrainian's?
Women and children making Molotov cocktails in the streets?
Making Molotov cocktails to burn Russian soldiers to death, or do you think its a peace keeping drink for them?

Would you compare them to Putin??

Wake. Up.

Also if Putin is forcing Russians to go and fight, that is solely on his conscience, not mine.

And its me some are comparing to Putin.

You are welcome to your freedom of speech, but you don't have freedom from the consequence's of that.

Your own President has said about the Nuclear threat.
Unless the West are changing the subtitles? Really??

He's done this before as well.

You have an opposition leader in prison and who has been poisoned a few times....
Your leader has poisoned people on the streets of the UK,
Ordered passenger planes to be shot down.

Sorry to break it to you, its you that is lied to....

I i were you, i'd be joining whatever group's there are in Russia that stand against Putin and plot to over throw him and his cronies and get Navalny in place pronto before you get caught up in the clean up.

Your leader is actually weak, your army is weak, his last gasp is nuclear.
We are going to cripple your country with sanction's which will hurt you, not Putin.

Putin has fast run out of friends.
Choose wisley.

After playing the "It will be just a military exercise, you're hysteric" card, it is just presumptuous to believe anyone will believe in what Russian "free media" reports...

Threats to the security of state integrity. NATO does not comply with the 1997 enlargement agreement. Constant attacks on various countries. Isn't that a threat?
Do you know the purpose of creating NATO?

I said specifically. You think NATO is a threat, but that doesn't mean they have issued a threat. You think NATO is a threat because your government has been telling you that.

And right now, who do you think the biggest threat is? The organisation that is yet to put troops into Ukraine or Russia, or the country that is invading another, killing foreign citizens, and bombing foreign soil? You can go for 'whataboutism' blaming the US, and even NATO for previous actions, but your country is the one doing the things you've been told that NATO is doing, how do you not see that?

That's like...12 F-35s lol.

Where are all of Ukraine's fighter jets?
They didn't have many to begin with. Many have conducted sorties already. Some have been destroyed. Currently in the most contested areas it's not safe for any planes to fly from either side because both Ukraine and Russia have moved plenty of AA weaponry into Ukraine. They're both effectively denying the airspace to anybody. Russia tried but failed to take out Ukrainian AA weapons early on, probably due to bad intel and mobile weapons. Depending on how motivated Russia is to continue - if these negotiations result in nothing - then it's going to be an absolute slog.

Is the United States not going to respond to Russia’s nuclear statement? “Try something and prepare for annihilation” would suffice for now. Where’s Ronald Reagan when you need him?

NATO can only act if a NATO country is attacked.

What they can do is help supply a country being attacked, from the side lines......possibly... shssss, don't tell Putin...
