Why? The invasion is a current event and it's in the correct sub-forum. Also, trouble makers have been dealt with pretty quickly too.
Yes I can see that. I mean in respect of worrying about something that we are unable to do anything about. That's all. I'll cease commenting and just watch on. Sorry for the confusion.

There's a 17-mile long convoy of Russian armour and light troop carriers enroute to Kyiv at the moment. I feel like this setup is an A10 pilot's dream. In the very least, it seems like a really dumb way to move men and machine, considering the whole highway of death concept.
Does the Ukrainian Air Force have the Sukhoi Su-25? I know that's kinda sorta similar in role to the A-10, although it's missing the all-important BRRRT factor.
But Russia has full control of the sky.
It depends on who you ask and/or believe. The Russians claim to have total air superiority, but pretty much every Western country is doubting that. Even then, the Ukrainians are still flying drones around.

Russians are fighting with old soviet tactics not modern 21st century tactics and strategies.

Im really wondering did they invest in their reforms and modernisation that they said for decades? Nowadays conscription is getting phased out for more professional armies while the Russians still sent conscripts to fight a military campaign.

Are the troops supposed to be kept alive and energetic with just the power of belief in Dear Leader's plan?

To be fair, some military grade MREs can remain edible way beyond their originally intended expiry date. I wouldn't have expected any modern country's military to actually do this though.

Eh, I got one in the early part of the millennium that had a bag of M&Ms in it that said I could win a trip to the 1988 Olympics.

Not gonna comment on actual events but once again we see how garbage the media generally are. All rush to be the first to report a story without any regard if it's true or heaven forbid footage from a damn video game! I didn't for 1 second believe the story about the 13 Ukrainians dying on that island. It just seemed pointless to give up your life so cheaply that the story didnt seem believable, but the media couldn't wait to push that story. The propaganda for this war is gonna be intense.
While fake, it has done a decent job of bolstering the nation and outside world to repel the attacks.

The Ukrainian road agency is calling for citizens to remove road signs in order to confuse the invaders according to the (oligarch-owned) Independent's tabloid sister i.

During the 1968 Soviet invasion of Czechoslovakia, road signs in rural areas were simply turned to face the wrong way; one incident saw a large Soviet force simply march its way into Poland by mistake.

The NHL has cut ties with Russia:

Also, TikTok has joined Facebook in limiting Russian backed media:

Since TikTok is basically CCP spyware, I found it a bit surprising.

And it seems like the football leagues finally had no other choice but to suspend Russia.
