Yeah, but may it be homes' decision before anyone thinks I'm trying to become the head of the series :sly:

Yes of course. You're in the dame boat as me because when I made those requests I sounded quite like I was in charge haha.

Could me maybe count points for countries too? Like the best finisher from each country earns his country points. So for example, agentsreanas0 and I are from America. Lets say we are the only two Americans in the league, I get 6th and he gets 2nd, so USA gets points for second, then lets say homes wins, he gets South Africa (that is what country you are from right?) points for first.

I can explain it better later it necessary.

Homes is apparently British, even though he's got the RSA flag for some reason... In this idea I'd get to represent Finland all alone, but it may still be possible to somehow win that 'Nations Cup' :dopey:

me and can u dig this have the same points so it will be a great battle for 6th in the championship

It seems my post disappeared so I will write it again.

Even if you are the only one from a country you still have a chance because only one person from each country can get their country points because the best finisher from each country gets the points for the country.

Normally on a formation lap, there is also a rule that your trailing distance are not allowed to be greater than 1.5sec.

The reason for that rule is that no one can give an advantage to the driver in front you.

Yeah, but my country's success would depend entirely on me, while South Africa/GBR/USA just need one good result per race from one of their drivers... Maybe if we get more Americans, we can have a Continental Cup, where America, Europe and Africa are put up against each other?

As for the formation lap, I'd also like to point out that you should keep a few car lengths between each other at all times to leave space for everyone, especially when the race itself begins.

Good photos, but indeedy it's impossible to tell who is who because all the cars look the same...

I am in the blue car.... LOL

Guys the rolling start will be cool, we just all behave and do it correctly as intended. Theres no need to over complicate it. Just stay close to the guy ahead, pole sitter keeps a steady pace, and after the first turn on lap two, we go.

As an extra point, I suggest that passing other cars on the formation lap is allowed if you get lagged off the track.

Well... Yes going off the track is reason to be passed.

I don't know if you got it or not, but I meant that if the car behind you is lagging and causes you to go flying off, you should be fully allowed to reclaim your position because the off-track incident wasn't your fault :)

Oh yes that's better

OK, everybody... this is it!

I'm posting it here 1st so that the drivers from this series get 1st option and will post it in its own thread later

Epic stuff, I believe your RSA friends are going to be around too? :) There would then already be spaces filled which is always helpful because I've seen lack of interest, or should I say, loss of interest after doing a few races, in several series around GTP...

I'm in as a trustable full-time entry, with my preferences being:

1. Arta NSX
2. Epson NSX
3. Denso Sard Supra (unlikely though, because I suffered from lack of pace when we raced on the classic GT courses)

I don't really care who I get as my teammate, anyone is fine, as long as I don't become number 2 driver :sly:

EDIT: If you wish to be my teammate, then feel free to ask - just remember that I hate team orders, so we had better be in an equal state through the season :)
