There's just so many stories floating about at the moment that nobody really has a clue whats going to happen until the last minute or until someone can show a video of Luca di Montezemolo naming the temporary replacement to the world, here's another couple of news clips I found as examples that are 0% reliable until we see video footage of an official press statement ...

Wishing a speedy recovery to Massa and I hope he has his seat back again next season 👍

It would have been cool to see Schumacher back even just for a few races but as mentioned before the pressure would be immense and not fair on a guy who has very little track time in these new regulation cars ... Good luck to the guy who does get a loan of the seat and make good use of the perfect opportunity to show the world who they are and what they are made of

Also, Alonso is hardly going to quit just to be a stop-gap driver. If he moves to Ferrari, it will almost certainly be as a permanent replacement, hence bringing him in to replace Massa in the short term would mean that either Massa or Kimi would be out at the start of next season.

Not to shift the subject matter too much, but isn't Kimi pursuing a career in rally racing soon?

I remember either Bob or Peter mentioning something about that.

If someone does get to borrow the seat, who gets the points if they score points? Massa or the driver gets his name added to the list?

Massa will drive his own car in Valência! many news following his crash was BS including the coma everything was mostly just for precaution and this morning he already asked to leave the hospital but the doctors want him to stay a couple of days extra!

Hang on, he was under induced coma - thats not rubbish, thats what happens when treating serious head injuries like this.

The Stig? Now that would make me want to watch F1 after so long... for about 10 minutes until I turn it off again.

anything can be called a induced coma! even your dentist can induce you to a coma while he pulls out that trashed tooth! his personal doctor has said that he was given tranquilizers to sleep that was his induced coma!

great news Schumi is back I feel for Kimi as he will be even more last in the Ferrari family!

then why didn't you? 👎

Obviously you don't know what an induced coma is...

It is Valencia remember - Bernie Ecclestone could turn up wearing a dress and it could still be a yawn fest.

I'm slightly disappointed that they've given Schumi the drive - and it doesn't say much for their other options. However, I reckon it is a realistic choice, given that Massa might be back sooner than expected, and atleast there is no danger that the stand-in driver will get too comfortable in Massa's seat...

Wait, what? Schumacher's back? Schumacher, the seven times WDC? Michael "The Kaiser" Schumacher?

...

...yep, there's text down there...

HOLY SAN JACOBO BATMAN!!!

I've just read James Allen's biography of Schumi - "The Edge of Greatness". The whole book makes him out to be a cheat who would do anything to win. The incidences with Hill and Villeneuve take up a good chunk of the book. I'd recommend it though as its a good insight into his F1 career.

wow now Lewis Hamilton's got a fighting car again its going to be interesting between these 2 great drivers. Can't wait to see how it goes down.
