And to make things interesting, what do you think is the best part about this car? I like it's non-conformist shape and it's versatility

Once I get the money, I'll buy one. But that could take a while:(

I heard that GReddy was planning a turbo kit for the xB, but I don't know if it will happen.
 
I don't think it would make THAT much power. I'm guessing it would up power to about 190-200 hp. But if you kept the stock suspension pieces and wheels/tires, it would become a problem

Anyway, I've posted this here so many times but it seems no one cares about it because I haven't gotten any response about it. Maybe it will here. This guy Murakami has some sick kits

I am referring to the idiots who put big, ugly, heavy chrome wheels on every single car they get their hands on. Since these types of wheels are called "dubs", I thought this was a clever term for these people.

BTW: that is one AWESOME Scion!!!

Anyways, I think they should create a Monster Scion. I read a feature article on a Nissan Micra making almost 300 hp. I think it would be awesome if Scion made the xB hella fast.
 
The scion is growing on me, i have to admit. At first, i thought it was just another ugly car, but i guess its not that hard to look at anymore.

300hp that would be sick but I can't picture an xB going that fast as my dad put it... "it looks like a ride at disneyland" and "it doesn't look like it should go fast?". On the other hand that Renault Espace was so damn sick! :eek:

Klostrophobic, I guess honestly it's like the Dodge Ram when it first came out. Either you like it or you don't and that's it. I like it a lot because it makes sense(obviously because it's a box). My dad has a Rav4 and this xB isn't much bigger than it yet it seems to have twice as much friggin room! It's small enough to get into parking spaces without a problem. It can haul people an stuff just fine with ample leg and head room. It looks some what sporty even though it probably isn't. It would be a great "crusing" car especially if it had a sunroof which it doesn't :( :banghead: Gets good gas mileage but the power some what lacks, I don't mine this one because my car now has less power and It's better I didn't have that much power.

One thing I absolutely hate is these people that feel the need to compare the Element with the xB. Just because they look similar (I don't think so) that's not a reason, they were both built with different purposes totally.

edit: I have to admit if I was going to get one I definitely could leave it stock because it looks so wimpy. At least, bigger wheels would be in order as well as lowering it.

You didn't answer the question. What do you like about the car? You're free to like it all you want, but I just don't get what attracts people to it. All I see is a 3400 pound box on wheels with 108 horsepower. I must be missing something about it.

Apparently this car is supposed to be geared towards drivers under 30, but not a single thing about it makes me even want to consider looking at it.

How on earth did you get that weight? I doubt that the xB could be that heavy. And read my first post to find out why I like it.

And I never said that it was the beast car ever, but to talk crap about it and make false statements just because you don't like it is unacceptable.
 
It weighs 3370 pounds. Sorry.

I've made zero false statements (unless you count exaggerating a figure by 30 pounds false). I thought you might like something other than it's shape and versatility. That's all.

Why are you even posting here? If you hate these cars so much, then just stop posting here. I have yet to insult you, but you act like I have. This thread is not for you to rant about how crappy this car is.
 
I'm going to agree with Klos. Ya you say its a practicle car and while I don't doubt that, practicle cars always look like hell. GM wanted that in the Aztek. Honda wanted it in the Element.

Ya what else is so appealing? Its a box, I can look all day at a box. Hell at least I drive a rouned box, that things just square. And there isn't much power.

I also fail to see how that things good mileage at all. There is no aerodynamics at all.

I'm just will to bet that this thing will be a flop just like every other car that has tried.
