Yeah, with no tuning restrictions, fully upgraded cars will win by at least 20 seconds without any type of trying.

The Seasonal Events went from really hard to ridiculously easy, due to no tuning restrictions vs stock cars.

Well, good money/XP

Think that was a mistake by PD or done on purpose?
-I personally think it was a big OOPS! but I don't think they noticed/care enough to fix it.

Either way, I'll take the easy money/xp.

yeah, this thread was a waste of time. I made it before I'd run anything but the Prius. I kind of expected the races to practically require fully modded cars to win.

I just blew a whole bunch of loot on hopping up an Elise and accidentally set it to auto trans, said heck with it and kept going.... still won by like 30 seconds. Guess they just wanted em to be easier.

I'm watching my roommate slide around the track in his Elise like it's raining, and he's in 4th on the 3rd lap. I'm standing by my assertion that this set of races is Sony's personal apology to me for making me do that stupid NASCAR nurburg ring race

finished the last two races first with huge lead...

- put in turbo on the C4
- tuned my Ford to 500kw, compressor but no engine tuning

working right now on the Elise

Just changed the oil on the Audi and put soft sport tires and won by 14seconds! Ridiculously easy!

Maybe they could be mixing it up? The first two were pretty hard, I mean you had to be on the ball, maybe they are just giving us a gimme for the 3rd set. Either way, this is my first GT5 game, and I think they are really doing well to keep it fun and interesting.

First try was with an otherwise stock Ford GT on sport softs. Game over by lap 4. This is ridiculous for a million Cr...

Really depends on much you want to win by.

Full tune with soft racing tires= easy win.

This helps me reach lvl 30 a lot quicker.

edit- Anyone have a good tune for the Audi TTS Coupe?

I thought seasonal events 1 and 2 with the performance restrictions was a real highlight of this game. Much better and more fun than the A-spec races.

Sure we like the easy credits/XP, but to have fun, it has to be a real challange beat. Hopefully the go back with the #4 events.

I maxed out each car before each race. The Prius race was a PITA. The Citroen was a challenge. I couldn't mess up at all or I'd come in 3rd. The Audi and Ford races were easy money.

saidaouita-Just max that sucker out...you'll be good to go. No need for Racing Tires on these cars though...soft sports will work.

Done all of these now, back to Seasonal Events #2, still gotta try the Focus and Mini ones.

Round three was exceptionally easy. Throwing some soft tires on these and maybe a small upgrade for some HP will win all of these.

For those having issues on the Citroen race, the suspension that comes stock doesn't work too well for the track in the challenge.
I adjusted the ride height down to -41/-38 and set the spring rate to 11.4/13.4 and didn't change anything else other than a stage 2 engine upgrade and won by about 30 seconds on soft racing tires. Even then I didn't seem to be trying too hard.

Ahhh, now this is fun! I was thinking to buy a Ford GT a days ago and if this event, one is going to be mine! And ppl say that is easy to win if almost no tune? Nice! More cars to the garage, fun and money/exp. ^^

Well...you get 3,500,000cr and 350,000 experience. I'm going to earn a little bit more and get the FGT and I'll be at lvl 30 in A-spec finally. I think this is another part of the "Time Saver" stuff. 5 extra races around Indy and you've got enough to buy the FGT from the Rare Car Dealer.

Any tune for the Citroen? I dont have the car and dont feel like buying it if im not gonna win the race.

I flew threw the Audi challenge but havnt got a Citron, cant get all gold on the rally dont have a car to do them. Any chance I could borrow someones for this race??
