I'll bet that DTM one will be a bit challenging since you can't just throw $$ at the car and get a win.

its easily beatable with a stock dtm car . . .
these cars handle fantastic . . will buy as many as i can!

Looks like the payouts in this set are calibrated to punish those who load up on a bunch of tuning shop extras -- it looks quite easy to lose money, assuming you have to buy the cars, if you're not judicious about any additions.

Exactly, it rewards those who have to mod the least. Maybe this will stop all the griping about the no restrictions, too easy, etc.

I'm really close to level 26 in A Spec. I see the Formula Gran Turismo is in the OCD, is it worth dropping a cool 5mil on?

The Formula Gran Turismo seems to be in the UCD every week but if you got the spare cash you might aswell buy it as you need for an A-Spec race. YOu can enter it in some other races too which is handy for B-Spec.
If you are worried about wasting money use the save game exploit.

You will have to sooner or later if you want to do the FGT series.

It pays for itself pretty quick in b-spec grinding. FGT owns the Dream Car Championship, which is good for about a million credits each time.

Added a racing filter, the catalytic converter and the ECU chip to the TVR, smoked the R8 at the end of the 4th lap. Most likely racing hards and an oil change is all anyone needs for that one. Sports softs and oil might do the job too. Some sort of tire upgrade is a must IMO or you can't do business around Cape South's sweeper; the stock tires just don't have enough grip there.

Definitely less $$$$ for the prizes this time around. Lost about 400k buying and tuning all four of the non-DTM cars, but I get a kick out of buying/tuning/driving cars I wouldn't otherwise. Definitely worth the couple hours of fun and losing 400k is A LOT less than I would have lost without these Bonus Race subsidies.

Max out, or nearly max out, the designated car, get to 1st place in the 2nd lap, switch to cockpit view and Sunday Drive the last three laps. Rinse, repeat, or bring the car to other tracks if I want to tune and play further :D

Then the DTM race with a stock IS F Racing Concept gave me $2mil, which was nice too :)

Touring car race was the easiest 2m credits I'll ever see in this game. Already had the Abt Audi with soft slicks in my garage and was able to bite off 2-3 cars every lap. Caught the #1 guy between turns 2 and 3 of the last lap.

Yeah too easy i passed the no 1 guy in my lexus on the 7th lap

The Alfa race was interesting in that the car wasn't as much a dog as comment here had led me to expect. I like the Maserati Gran Turismo and the Alfa seems similar. For the race it needed sports softs and a move of the brake balance forward to kill its tendency to float in the curves around the Colosseum. Got 3rd on the stock tires and then 1st with the above. Took the #1 in the 90-degree corner leading to the back straight on the last lap.

The 8C is basically a modified Maserati GranTurismo

Although money has never been the big issue, it's those annoying xp points which are lacking.

And as expected no restrictions... it seems like the first two rounds were carefully crafted events to help challenge you to get better... now it just feels like PD are saying:

Its green.

The events came in a perfect time, I need to level and more money to buy some cars! I'm glad they put the European Touring Car race, its time to bring out my M3 or my Audi for it! :P

Mine was stuck at same blue for all those weeks so far....

So what else is on the Online Dealership besides the Formula car? I loved getting all those Japanese GT's at once :D

I'm guessing DTM cars?
