I don't know. I'm completely Clueless :dopey:

:odd: Just...no.... :P Do have to admit, though, my first 20 million went to the Jag. Still haven't touched it. I actually put it in my favorites so I could go drive it and not gain miles on it. :D

Just let him buy the fastest car on game .. a Subaru 360 with the max ballast .....at the back with Comfort Hard Tires👍

With max ballast I'm not sure it could get to a corner let alone know what to do with it...

Oh come on, get off my arse about the gearbox, you know full well it was a botched setup built in 2 minutes.

That's why after I screw mine up I go back and put a close-ratio box on. :embarrassed:

Speaking of 20 million, I'm about to hit the cap. Should I get a Miura or that Alfa with the long name? I have both already so you don't have to give me pros and cons. First reply decides. :P

Get a Jaguar XJ13 or a Ferrari P(Insert 3 digit number here), then get a Lambo

Alfa. Perfect stock 👍

Hey all you active F.I.T.T. types check out my last couple of posts in that thread please and give me some feedback. Roj has already put his 2 pence in so...

Oh and NascarManiaco nice times there.👍👍

Out of the 20/15 mil cars the Jag and the Alfa are my favorite. Sweet stock, monsters tuned. :dopey:

The Alfa because it better looking then the Mira and it a race car

I already have the XJ13 and the P4. Miura it is. 👍

I'll grab the Alfa next time, I did say first reply gets to choose. :P

My Spoon CRZ makes more than allowed PP at stock settings (382 w/miles and oil change), what gives?

It's because you changed the oil. The other Spoon CR-Z hasn't had it changed from new.

I just realized something - I tuned my gearbox for solo runs, not race ones. D'oh! I totally didn't read the part that the car would be run with other cars. I know it's too late to do anything but could I possible just have it raised a bit, with the final gear? The Spoon tops out at 111-112 MPH as is, which is perfect for solo but..in certain sections it might top out especially with a draft.

:( I fail sometimes.

Edit: On second thought, It might work out..I think it will.

Edit 2: All fine, just ran a lap. Only problem, battery juice runs out at lap 5 :P

No 🤬

I was told we had to though, guess I missed an update on that. Not that it matters, I wasn't tuning diddly last night anyway. :yuck:

Erm..about my Spoon Tuna - I kinda forgot to change the oil, well if I'm being honest I didn't because I didn't have time to fully break in the car and changing the oil would mess up PP and all that other junk. Still, the car will at most gain 1 HP during racing and that's still within 380PP. I'm sorry, i feel naughty :(

I said a lot about why we don't need to restrict it to enforcing oil changes, and I explained how there are still loopholes even with it, but it seemed to fall on deaf ears at the time.

That's just a conversation with you and DB from a prior shootout, what's that got to do with krenkme (host of this one) saying we must change the oil in any car entered?

The rule is a rule, but if the car does not go above the 380pp mark... why do you do this to me?...... I need to know from all the other tuners in the shootout to see what they think.

Engine broken in, and oil change were stated in the OP... so what do all you think?

Krenkme? Where are you to give your tongue lashing?

How's that? That's as mean as I get :dopey:

Whatever other tuners like I don't mind. If it's disqualified, fine by me. If it stays, yay. I just wanted to tune a car is all. I really don't care about how well it does, at least in this shootout. I hadn't tuned an FF in a long time. I'm cool either way. Just please, drive the thing :)

Because krenkme borrowed the shootout template from DigitalBaka's Seasonal Tuning Challenge. It makes sense that if the rules are carried over, so should that clarification of the oil change rule.

If it's decided that oil changes are mandatory even on premium cars, my Atenza is out too. :indiff:

It's a rule! Stated in the OP. I don't care about loop holes or who found a way to get more, or if it doesn't make a differance. It is just something that needed to be followed. Cars that are at 381pp are not aloud, per the OP. Cars that have engine limit are not aloud, per the OP. Cars using Ballest are not aloud, per the OP.... does that make it clear? It is just a rule that needed to be followed. Simple as that. No reason, just a rule. to use what I said before if the OP wanted red cars, all cars would have to be red!....[/rant]

Well I guess the Atenza is out then. Does being disqualified mean I can take the Honda Today G '85?

Not quite yet. Sorry for the small explotion, I just wish people would follow the resrictions in these shootouts. That being said, all cars that are posted and on share are in, no matter what, just don't take them off share to change anything.

We all good then? :dopey:

I played the grinch with shmogt earlier and everyone is probably going to hate me after my Shootout goes live anyways so I'm staying out of this one other than to say...

In future will all individuals interested in participating in events please carefully read the sponsors OP!
Doing the above will help to greatly reduce the incidence of things like the above and not knowing the testing parameters. If after reading the events rules your still not sure about something please ask about it instead of just assuming that what your doing is okay then finding out later its not. As they say to assume is to make an ass out of you and me and none of us want that I'm sure. Asking questions if unsure is always encouraged and much less annoying than just doing things that potentially turn into situations later.

Now climbing off my soapbox...
Remember as Ol'Harvey Wallbanger always says...
Drive hard and have fun!:cheers::gtpflag:

I don't think anyone has actually broken any rules anyway, it's just the oil change rule that's caused confusion.

I'd still rather have the Today G.

Okay, sorry about my out burst, and as Harvey said, if you plane on entering a shootout, please read and understand the OP. Now as far as this one goes, all the cars are good to go (as far as I know) and testers can continue to test 👍

And Roj, if you want the Today G you should have tuned a slower car, or driven slower :P

The king of double posts strikes again!!!!:dopey:

All tunes are linked. Testers are also linked. And I'm sorry for my outburst. As punishment I will now drive a Fiat 500F around the Nurb, with full weight and power limit :dopey:
