*Semi Spin-Off* How long can I leave the game paused?

Similar to another thread about 24 hour races - how long can I leave GT4 paused for? Regulars will be aware by now that I've started again and I'm not going to bother using B-Spec, but for 24 hour races I can't possibly sit for 24 hours straight. So can I pause the game, go to bed/work, and continue in the morning/afternoon etc?

Yes. You can leave the game paused as long as you want (I've actually left it paused for a full week ) with no ill effects.

If your PS2 wont crash it should work.
I know some older games (especially on PS1) that just continued after a while (also in the menus, like it pressed X automatically), but GT4 wont do this.
