Senna content coming soon?

Maybe you aren't aware of the exclusive license Simraceway has with the Mclarens, starting with those cars.

The bolded part is what I hate the most about the racing genre, those are the 2 words that prevent players from having cars they would want. Having those words next to any car is a big "🤬 you" to the players.

Exclusive licensing is bad and they should feel bad. (Also talking to you EA.)

They also only have the Senna IMAGE rights up to 1987. Even if they could include his 1988+ cars they couldn't include the image of Senna driving them. Silly, but that's how things work.

It doesn't really matter. The cream will always rise to the top, in fact usually even moreso as the best drivers tend to adapt to a new track even faster than the not so quick guys.

Who was "finishing up some stuff" at Interlagos?
PD was, they had a post on their Facebook or something a few months ago now.

You have the same opportunity as the next guy to get as much practice in as you can before it starts, no excuse really. If its a track that you personally don't have a lot of experience on, well now here is your chance. Its all about adapting, there is no advantage really, especially now being the content for the final round has been leaked. Everybody has pretty much the same amount of time to prepare, no excuses.
Yeah except for the people who didn't know about this 2 weeks in advance and find out on time.

Are you sure that was a real account? I feel like more people would have noticed if PD had said they were actually modeling Interlagos. All we've seen/heard that I know of is Kaz saying he'd like to have it in GT, but nothing beyond that.

Simrace way steals a lot of their content from the modding community , a lot of their models are turn 10 models too, mid Ohio was stolen from lm modding group. They have stolen physics code. They also employ sandrox to convert pcar models. I avoided them for these reasons.

It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't hold mclaren rights at all and are just blaging

No I know it was legit, I might have read it on a weekley rewind or something here too, I know it's for real though, there may have even been a picture of Kaz to go with it.

I don't recall him saying he was modeling it, so it was most likely for the Ayrton's Wish documentary.

You mean this?

So no, it was never confirmed to be in game and modeled.

Are you serious? Whether any of that is true or not, and I doubt it is, do you really think a company could put out a press release stating they had an exclusive license with McLaren, and included all their cars, and McLaren wouldn't say anything if they were just 'blagging'?

I think these are the pics he was talking about.

I remember seeing it somewhere.

Me too I remember, what is the point of posting pictures of track if you are not modeling it ?
I know this is PD and his favorite tool = Misleading Fans and Customers.
They enjoy so much to do this.

They posted the photos because Kaz was visiting Brasil and seeing stuff related to Senna.

Ok I am agree with you so instead of post pictures of a track and misleading us why not only post pictures with the family of senna and the senna institute ???
Marketing, Marketing, Maketing !!!!

How was it misleading? He said he drove the track.. that was all...

Because Interlagos is an important part of Senna's life and they wanted to show that Kaz visited there. Simple really.

Look, they very likely are modeling the track or plan to in the near future, point is though that they never explicitly said they were or that it was nearly finished and in this Senna package.

This is totally misleading us , he said he drove the track so we expect the track on the game. This is not a personal Facebook account, we don't even care of what he did and think if it is not relevant to the game !!!! That is my point !!

Uh.. no we don't...

Just more wild speculation from this section of the forum again I see...

Ok i'm again agree with you but there is a way to do it !! the post wasn't really explicit and clear that is why a lot of people expected Interlagos. The communication around Interlagos was really vague and they was playing with it !!!
I mean for example if Turn 10 post a picture of a track or car you can be sure it will be in the game.
You can apply this example in any business or company !

@GTPorsche , why there is a lot speculation here ? I persist to say they also often misleading us Because of a lack information and when we have informations it is not clear.

You clearly don't know how PD works.

Rest is true so I am on fence if they do have a license , maybe they do , but how would mclaren know of there shady background in stealing content from modding community , simply they wouldn't. Rest is true

I'd love to see evidence but even if it is true it's still ridiculous to question whether they have a license or not. It doesn't matter whether they know of this supposed shady activity or not, if McLaren hadn't really signed a deal they wouldn't allow this:

http://blog.simraceway.com/2011/11/simraceway-announces-landmark-agreement-with-mclaren/

Which would be entirely fake, including fake statements from Jonathan Neale. They would also know about them adding cars without a license.

So no I'm afraid you're being silly, Simraceway most certainly do have a McLaren license.

There's a lot of speculation because even when PD give concrete details about things, people still try to speculate about things that won't be there.

I really don't have much hopes about it but...
Well, if Kaz ever planned to include Interlagos in the game, that would be the perfect time to scan the track. It's a tiring journey from Japan to Brazil, why not use the favorable moment?

He's not the one that does the track scanning, and I doubt they can afford to just haul around track scanning equipment and the crew without knowing they'll be allowed to scan the track to add it to the game.

Like I said They steal other peoples content they made for free and then charge people for community provided content, if they do have a license good on them least they did it properly this time.

But this is totally off topic

When I say "Kaz", I mean PD team. I know he is not the one who does the scan...

Since interlgos has been on f1 games forever, stock car, iracing and perhaps a couple others i don't recall, i'm pretty sure there are companies that already laser scanned it. So the hardest part is already done.
And regarding the kaz pics in interlagos, it was this year but the intro movie showed interlagos so they must(should at least) been there at least once or twice before.
Once at that game show in Brazil (pics of him with children at a school) in october and if they wanted to include the track in game one more time before that.
