What Five tracks do you want to see in this series?

Ok my idea for the pit issue is to have a mandatory tire compound change of Racing Hards and Racing Mediums. Drivers can choose either tire to start but they must use both. Anybody caught using softs will have the points accumulated in that race taken out. If you accidentally put softs on, you have to replace them. Softs are also not permitted during practice or Qualifying.

You can set event regs to racing medium or worse in the room settings @Brutaka. Impossible to cheat then.👍

You can also set compound change in the room settings, got to change then. 👍

Just noticed your update to OP, is driver line permitted? Not stated, was allowed in Mazda apricot 100?

I forgot if driving line was permitted, I'll have to check once i get on GT6 as it is saved there.

What about an oil change??? I have been driving my vette a lot and it started loosing hp. So I changed the oil and now I can't get it to the correct specs. I can get the pp but end up a few hp short. May just buy a new car and not do an oil change and keep it just for the races :)

I recommend buying a new car for the races like i did but if it starts to lose HP and you do an oil change then reverting it back to 563 pp with whatever HP it has should still be good.

Engine recon possible? What sort of mileage we talking?

I've yet to have to do a engine reconstruction on any of my cars even the 500+ mile ones, so i don't expect that to be necessary. I t is allowed but i doubt it will be needed.

I don't think the cars start to lose HP until about 300 miles of driving, i could be wrong though.

Brutaka, the 'Vette and the GT-R, despite being OP they should have a bit more power. They feel really outpaced in the straights and I'm getting 1s more compared to the TVR.

I did attempt that before and the Vette and GTR had laptimes that were a bit too fast. Those two cars are pretty good around corners so it should even out.

Trial Mountain. The first on the calendar. Wednesday will be dedicated to Deep Forest.

Yes they are really fast around corners, but while I reach 250km/h or 260km/h with the Lexus, I barely reach 220km/h with the GT-R.

And while we're at it, my car will be the TVR

Hmm, that's most likely your own driving. I got a time almost as fast as my 600 PP time with the Vette. Straight line speed doesn't matter much on TM anyway, 95% of the time you'll be turning the wheel.
 
Have seen my lap time list? I just find it odd the gap between the cars, mainly the TVR. Even the Lexus which was a mad boat I was getting low 25's and the other mid 25's
 
I will do some tune testing today. If somebody can find a Camaro and Lexus tune that'd be great. I'll also look.
 
Hards, haven't bought tyres. Only messed with suspension, transmission, drivetrain, and aero.

I did a 1.24:7xx earlier today, I can tune the LSD pretty well to my liking but I'm not the greatest suspension guru, I drive auto gearbox so really just set the top speed. Not talented enough! Easy to see where the time is lost!

I'm an awful tuner myself, I use the quick tune tool for my needs. You should try manual, makes you feel more in control of the car. It might take a while to get used to it, but it's very fun!
 
I'm working on an IS-F tune for myself. 1:20.9 at the moment on the medium compounds but I really gotta dial out that understeer. And with that, I have my final choice for a car.
