I'm an awful tuner myself, I use the quick tune tool for my needs. You should try manual, makes you feel more in control of the car. It might take a while to get used to it, but it's very fun!

Thank you very much for this! I know I should try manual! I always put it off as I know initially I will be a lot slower, stuck in my ways!:banghead:

I will have to make the effort!:)

The Camaro is far worse... But if we were doomed because of you, now we're doomed by @doodlemonoply
Camaro wasn't too bad, just a tad wobbly. The TVR was worse, all over the place. Which is why I suggested they both gain some weight.

It's been so long since I was seen as a "threat".

It might be a little hard due to the fact the "paddles" on the DFGT are a bit hard to press, but it's well worth the effort!

I really enjoyed the TVR, it wasn't crazy for me which is one of the reasons why I picked it (And because it looked fantastic in my team livery)
Will there also be a car sexiness championship? Mine looks pretty good too. Silver on silver looked dull, so I made the front red.

The TVR needs a shorter 'box, otherwise it was brilliant and that was reflected in my times 1,5 sec quicker than the 'Vette

By 'box you mean gearbox right? I'm young and fairly new to car terms still :P

Yes gearbox. 4th gear is way too long and for Trial Mountain you need low ratios for better accelaration because there aren't big straights.

I am 17... Not old either.

If this is becoming an age battle, then I'm probably in front at 16. I can't even drive IRL yet!

Neither do I... My 17 were made in February and that's when I started to play with a wheel. Just checked our profile pages (@MatheusBond, @Brutaka and @AlvaroF and it turns out we are all the same age)

-------------------

Had a session of practice offline (my PSN is not working for some reason) and improved my TVR time to 1:22.803. Two hours of fiddeling I came up with my TVR setup, but ironically I can't participate in the first race. @Brutaka do you want my setup to try it out?

Wow, such a young field we have.

Edit: I was going online to do some TVR testing when i found a TVR TC room, i couldn't resist and joined, it's about 11 of us here 👍

Well it was :(

SHAMELESS PLUG INCOMING!! (You've been warned!)

So I'm in this GP2 series, with FGTs running on real-life GP2 Series specs. We're lacking a bit in drivers, and I thought some of you would like to satisfy your race hunger the day before the Tour! Here's the link, for those who get interested. Bonus love if you join my team!

I did a bit of testing and came up with a couple of things
1. I'm about a second or two off pace atm, need to adjust my setup.
2. Trial Mountain will be the most demanding track of the series.
3. Fuel will come down to the wire, as my tests suggest, fuel will run out at about lap 40 if people do not pit for fuel, meaning that some very good strategies can come into play

This series is getting more interesting by the day!! It's still next week though... :(

Please accept my entry D3SPY- / #18 TVR

Thank you.

@Brutaka please can you withdraw me from the series :( I can now only make 2 of the races anyway. Sorry mate. I'm sure we will race together sometime in the future. Thankyou. Good luck hope you do well

I got a 1:23.445 w/ RH tires online in a couple of tries in Trial Mountain, I am aiming for a time between 1:22.5xx and 1:22.8xx w/ RM. So unfortunate I can't participate.:nervous:

After a test on Deep Forest today, racing will be interesting. The right front tyre suffers way too much and it's the first to go. Fuel is a limiting factor. It may or it may not be enough for the entire race (the TVR is so bloody thirsty ). Pit strategy or @doodlemonoply will win the race. Estimate time of finish ~55 minutes, for us, mere mortals. I'm in love with Deep Forest.
