Yeah I don't mind one bit. If not mistaken, it's incredibly similar to the willow tune posted above with some minor tweaks.

I totally suck at tuning and have very little time to play PS4 lately. :(

By any chance could you also share your tune for the current GT3 at big willow?

te?

Yeah I hear you. I only get on once a week, which is Sunday nights for a few hours.

I don't have any GR3 tunes. I don't race that class at all. I hate those cars :D

Yes it's a very nice drive

Good to see Blue Moon oval with a leaderboard that haven't wallride on turn 1 👍

Edit:
Took 1st place by .001 :P Here's a kiddy view look at my best lap to see that no paint left the car :D

Had some fun in the weekend with the Gr4 Volkswagen Scirocco. They really gave that car a boost in the 1.06 update, don't know if it's because of the change in physics or that they just changed the BoP. But I'm really liking this car now. I'd like to call it the GT-R killer. :D Qualified in top 3 every time and won 9 out of 10 races with it. That's something I don't usually do with the GT-R so the car just really is that good.

Anyway, I think I had enough fun for myself with it and want to share the tune I'm using to see what everyone else can do with it. Some credits to @EDK since his tune is actually the starting point of my tune, gearing is all his, stabilisers and dampers too since they don't seem to make much difference. I just modified the rest more to my liking untill I couldn't push out any faster laptimes anymore.

First the 3 fastest laptimes I had. This one at Willow Springs put me on #3 in Europe. Could've been a little bit better in sector 1 but the rest of the lap I don't think I could've improved any more.

Then at the Nurburgring Nordschleife which put me on #1 in Europe. Though shortly after Bredsladd1 beat me by 3 seconds in his own Scirocco. :P He's insanely fast with the Scirocco as well.

And now with the current event, Brands Hatch GP, which put me on #1 in Europe as well, though right now I believe I'm #4 or #5 already so need to improve it a little. But as you can see there's definately some time to be gained still.

And here's the tune I've been using, just a different final gear for the different tracks. Someone I gave it to was modifying it a bit more though and beat my time with it so I may have to make some more changes. ;)

For anyone trying it, good luck and have fun. :P Make sure you brake late, let it roll into the corners and get back on the throttle late as well to avoid too much understeer. And just keep the wheels spinning, not much use to try and reduce throttle, it only seems to make you slower.

Thank you for sharing. Nice tune

There's still some time left out there. Probably can get in the 48's with the GTR.

I just started the process of using your tts big willow time to see how it feels and if I can maximize my skills, and probably not, but just maybe even improve on it for my style of gamepad driving with it as my smooth track basis not even ten minutes ago. Also Just subbed to your YouTube channel for more vids and more importantly more solid starting point tunes for me too lol. You have any advice on a good base ds4 setting? Either a sure setup or one that just needs to be dialed in for a person's personal preferences after the initial numbers? Or know of a knowledgeable ds4 guru if not?

Hello. Good to know my hobbie is usefull for you and help you to enjoy more this fantastic game serie.
Thanks a lot for the offer but for the moment i have all i need. my st PS4 work well, i´m waiting the delivery of a 4k 42`TV , perhaps i´ll buy a PS4 pro if there will be still room for the video quality. Seeing perfectly an apex is part of your driving pleasure and turn your driving inputs a bit sharper i supose. For the moment it´s ok, thanks again, very kind from you.

About tuning and testing, PD don´t give us this time the weight repartition of the cars. I have detected that the springs values are giving us this information.
Ex: % front weight repartition = Mini front value /(mini front value + mini rear value)
It´s not essential but i´ve decided to include this info in my tuning sheet later.
Those are the weight repartition from the cars i´ve tuned till now.

I did this also to help me to find a setting for a given spring value based on weight repartition. Just to start a tune on a stock base , stiffer or softer. As you can see , i spend my time playing with my new toy, just like an old kid... That´s why i love this game.

Really digging into these tuning forums now :D. I get your stock weight distribution formula, but how do I calculate the formula for after adjusting the front springs to find the appropriate rear value? Sorry, I'm just not that good at math lol, so you know... Hehe

thanks for the sub

I primarily run a DS4 and I find the tunes are pretty much the same, all that I've had to modify is usually adding negative rear toe to get a little more turn in. I suggest watching @gtr3123 he usually has some good, quick tunes and I use some of his as a base for my tunes. 👍

Awesome lap buddy! I'm hoping to give it a whirl this weekend.

Lazy wheel gets the grease?

Hey guys, for the EU drivers...
How the **** is possible to make 0:54.5 on Brands hatch Indy with Audi TTS? Really, i'm not the best driver in the world, but wow, i made a lot of laps and my best is still 0:55.4, with only ABS. there is a gap of 1 second! I have a friend which is one of the best Italian drivers, and he only made 0:55.2
Am i missing something in the setup? Or maybe the top drivers are driving with some driving helps?

Well they have good setups, of course, but then they are simply very good! I have 55.16 recorded, but my optimal is just under 55 secs. In races with AzoreanGordo tonight (him pole, me 2nd) he just charges away... I'm no real challenge to him so he gets bored I think, makes the odd mistake, but I never get anywhere close to passing. It looks like his Evo has quite an extreme setup, but I still wouldn't be as fast with the same.

More curious right now is the big gap on the Willow leaderboard, nearly 0.5 seconds between 1st and 2nd!

I finally made a balanced setup for gtr gr4 on Dragon Tail, playing with ds4.

Well, i tried to make some more laps, and i made 0:55.244...but i was able to make something like 0:55.050, with Audi TTS.
It's better from the last laps, but still far away from the first drivers...

LoL you mean you changed the dampers and very slightly increased the brake lsd on the setup I posted xD which doesn't make sense because the changes you did really doesn't effect the car. Same handling characteristics. You actually made it worse for a ds4 by increasing the brake lsd.

I always have that fear before I post a video with a set up, maybe it was someone else's set up that I tested and tweaked slightly? :D I do try other people for sure if they run a wicked lap I want to try that set up ;) ...

So if I'm not sure who's it is I usually post a disclaimer with it 'not sure if mine or not' to save any fingers pointing at me 👍

Yes. I didn't sad that's a new setup. I just share what I tried and works fine to me.
I tried yor setup but I was losing the car on fast S and this bumpers works better to me. I dont know but the lsd works for me.
With -0.10/-0.05 the first corner was faster but lose time on the middle. :/

Yeah, that was Erick's GTR tune but I actually put a link to his channel in my description of the video lol

Probably stop putting tunes on my videos and be done with it
