Wait a minute, they didn't model the Veyron's engine in GT5? What the 🤬 have you done PD!! :ouch: :banghead:

Only premium cars will have models of the engine, sad to say Veyron is left out. Well you will get tons of Nissan as premium :yuck: đź‘Ž

PD loves Nissan

In the picture that was posted earlier in the thread you can see through the window and see the driver and the blue sky on the other side. Aren't standard cars windows supposed to be blacked out.

Though the gear box casing is from leamington in Birmingham :D:D according to the documentary from discovery turbo.

Leamington spa, near warwick and solihull(which I class as birmingham as it's right next door) but still west midlands, either way you can't blame me:D I'm a proud guy after all. And yogaflame it's the super sport not super gt đź‘Ť

Ricardo designed and builds the whole transmission for Bugatti. The W16 block is cast in the UK too.

Well even standard cars you will see a bit of the driver but no cockpit view and interior model and engine model.

And Toyota, and Honda, yet they decided to make the world's fastest and most expensive car a standard. For shame PD, for shame. đź‘Ž

Well I will still buy the game even if the Veyron is left out to be a standard, no Lamborghini Reventon, Lamborghini Countach as standard, Honda HSV is not included as promise and to many Japanese car and small amount of exotic super cars like Aero and Koenigsegg CCX . But I hope they learn there lesson next time for Gt6. I feel Gt6 will still come out for ps3 early 2012 since the game engine is ready and ps3 has more power left. I remain hopeful that with a lot of complains and gripes about the Veyron, PD will make a premium model of Veyron as a patch or bonus.

They should make the Veyron Super Sport as DLC and a premium Veyron as a free patch.

Well we're lucky the Veyron is in the game. :D Just think about Koenigsegg and Porsche;they didn't even include any of them. BTW how do you think we will unlock the Veyron?

True, count it as a blessing I guess, I'll have to get shift out if I want an inside driver's view with veyron. No biggie :) Least it will drive properly in gt5.

Don't know, endurance race, special license test or a certain percentage. Just guessing.

I just hope it's not hard to unlock it. I really want to make a straight track using the track editor to test it on. Should be epic. :)
How does the Veyron handle in NFS: Shift? Is it realistic/good or just like the other cars in that game?

Yeah same. When I said get it out (don't knw why I said that) I meant to say get it. Haven't played it. Lol, sorry typo on my part.

Have you seen special stage route 7(wangan inspired track)? you can probably max any thing out on thoughs straights....it's insanely long.

No problem. Anyway do you think the Daytona Speedway will be enough to max the Veyron out? I personally think it won't be enough for the faster cars like the Veyron and the Red Bull X1 car.

Yes it should be Premium. It was the worlds fastest car and its sister (Super Sport) is the fastest at the moment.

Apparently our college in Sussex had someone from Ricardo give a talk (so my CAM teacher told us)

Personally, the Veyron does´nt drive me crazy(I prefer the EB110), but seeing that the car was on the standard list, felt like a punch in the face. Everytime that I played with the Veyron on NFS Shift, I just imagined how cool was it going to feel to drive that beast with GT´s physics. I could´nt wait to drive that monster on the Mulsane straight, seeing all those exotic gauges working together as they reached their limit... Yes, I don´t like the Veyron, but as a car lover, I know that it is an iconic piece of machinery and it deserved to be enjoyed as a primium... Hell! Every car deserved to be a premium, no mater if its an econo-front-wheel-drive-four-banger, or an exquisit 16 cylinder super exotic.

Exactly, you summed it all up in that last sentence all of the cars in the game deserve to be premium, as all of them are bound to be significant to some people. It doesn't matter how much you all moan about the standard Veyron its very unlikely that it will change before GT6 so you lot are going to have to live with that! But then so will fans of other significant cars such as the Honda S800, Original Skyline GTR, R8 LMS, Countach LP400 and Special edition so I don't see why the Veyron deserves all of this special attention, and lets be honest most of the moaning and complaining is pretty pathetic:ouch:

But it might help so PD will hear our clamor. I'm only 90% happy about the game. It could have been 100%. The things that I did not like are: Veyron is standard, Lamborghini Countach is standard, No Lamborghini Reventon, No Honda HSV, and small number of RUF and worse the RUF we have is just a standard. đź‘Ž :yuck:

Constructive and reasonable criticism is fine but some people just seem to have a heart attack because something is not as they wanted it to be!! Perhaps they should remember that this the a CAR game and not the Veyron and other less significant Japenese duplicates game which some people make it out to be!!

People. Calm. Down. It's not going to be Premium, so what's the point here? To complain in distress because something didn't go your cheerful little way? So what? What you say isn't going to change it. Sony and PD did their work. Play the game. Shut up. Please. It's pointlessness like an argument over 1/1031 of the cars that keep people away. That's less than 0.001%of the cars in GT5. Is it deserving of a thread so people can whine because you get one taste of a cockpit in GT5:P or Forza and now it's an industry standard?

No.

How can some of you whack jobs say that it shouldn't be premium, do you know the history and tech of the car? No.

Learn about it and you might appreciate the car. Not even a fan of that car, but it's an engineering marvel.

I do. Bugatti was brought from the dead around 1998 by the Volkswagen Group, they created several protoytypes, including the Chiron 18/3. In 2003, the Bugatti EB Veyron 16.4 prototypes first started hitting the ground. I remember from a Motor Trend article. In the mid-2000's, Bugatti released the production version with the Quad Turbo W-16, doling out 1001hp and 922lb.-ft. to a 7-speed sequential. The 4WD drive system brough to a 253m/h speed and 2.8 0-60. The newer ones, including the Grand Sport and Super Sport, have more power. The ending is 2 Passat V8's joined together. I know the history, the tech. I know enough.

That's basic info, because according to you we're all idiots who don't have a damn clue of the car.
