Doesn't look too bad, low poly count is a bit obvious in some angles but the lighting and the rest of the car looks good. Best standard I've seen so far, just going to miss the cockpit view in this car. But as stated a lot of times before let's hope for a patch or DLC with premium veyron. End of now.

This. I just hope the car handles well and conveys that sense of power of the real life Veyrons.
 
When I heard I couldn't use the veyron's sexy interior I actually said I wouldn't buy the game...thing is it's in the game. Dlc or patch...if it goes premium then wehey! if not then aah well. Least it's in and uses same physics as premiums. I've been focusing on the negative about having no cockpit view and lower poly's etc. but fact is, sometimes positives are just needed.

Seriously? How exactly does it look "bad"? It may not be as good as the premiums but it certainly looks great for a standard.

It looks perfectly acceptable for a game launched in 2006 or a 2010 hand held but on the PS3 in 2010! I'm not a fan of just ramping up the poly count as you can do a lot with only 25-50k polys but that looks like it was made with at most 1500.
 
The car looks okay, i won t be too bothered to have one racing alongside me, but as i wrote earlier, no dash view=no play for me. But that s just because of my effed up brain, not because i am a spoiled brat who is never happy.

Anyway, it s funny, the PR pitch here emphasizes the presence of bugatti cars in the game whereas there is only one and standard to boot. The brand is important here, the assembly line is in france and the very name Veyron is in homage to a French, but i think they shouldn't try to sell the game using the rather poor bugatti selection
 
Makes me laugh that some people were defending that monster of a nissan micra saying it looked great but now people see this^ and it's 'poor'. Lol.
 
I may get this and use it, it looks OK, probably better than shift and FM3s interpretation.

And has anyone considered the reason it is not premium is that maybe Bugatti (VW) didnt let PD get hold of one for long enough to photograph it from a million angles and therefore Kaz didnt want to try and model it without the right photographs?

I dont think it'll be available as a premium from DLC, I dont think PD will give us much, if any, DLC for this game. And only bugs will be patched, not additions to cars and tracks
 
This topic is what future wars will be about :) I'm glad I dont have superman sight like some people here who sees something else than a brilliant supercar in a brilliant game. Premium or no premium, still awesome! :)👍

Well if you do that, you lose the whole point of the car. The idea of Veyron is to be very fast and very comfortable at the same time, a car you can drive 400 km/h and have a business call at the same time, not a ultimate track car.

But yes this is a game and I don't mind if you desire of doing that.

Actually, you have a choice of various models of sits, and afaik you have choice for floor carpet thickness. Ho and you can buy a scale model of your veyron with the same options.

That would be nice to drive the scale model... :) Re-Volt-style

Sadly, as a Standard model, it may be confined to wing modifications as far as customization. We'll know for certain not quite soon enough, though. Here's hoping.

Of course the Veyron should be a premium car. It's one of the most important cars of past years and I doubt we're likely to see another such a feat for many many years.

Nha but seriously, i had in mind a Premium model, to see the sits... but yeah that was just to jokingly agree that there is nothing much to optionize on a Veyron.

Auto only, locked dme and suspension, very specific exhausts and rims... it s not a "tuners' " car
 
Other then the lack of Bugatti Veyron as premium, I quite happy with the game. Well my dream is to see the new 2011 Bugatti Veyron 16.4 Super Sports in premium but it did not happen. Maybe on Gt6.
